Comment: I think Kelly's acting was pretty good on Girlfriends the weeks she was on. Way better than Beyonce's acting in anything she's been in. I also think that Kelly has gotten more beautiful than she was in the past. If she wants mainstream success, she will have to gain a lil weight, shake her azz harder, and take off some clothes just like these other girls do. Even Brandy's lil skinny butt is trying to get in on the sex appeal game b/c she wasn't selling albums inspite of making good music. OR, she can learn how to play the piano/guitar something so she can be more of a novelty like A keys. Other than that, she may have to just satisfy herself with trying to make solid music even if she's not a mainstream superstar. Because really the media decides those things.

Comment: Alicia Keys is a novelty? Even if Kelly learns to play the piano, Alicia Keys has been playing since she was a little girl. A few lessons in her 20's will hardly put her on the same level. Kelly can have a career. It will not be on the level of Beyonce's but she can still work and stay in the public eye. I don't think the media decides it, success depends on how well your fan base will support you. Some people can have all the publicity in the world, but if nobody buys your music, it's all for naught.

I don't know about Kelly...lol..she only pops when she standing beside..or more comfortably, behind a blond lightskin chick (Beyonce, Trina, et al). I could be wrong, but yall know 'Simply Deep' was Simply WEAK.

Comment: Yall got me cracking the hell up this morning; wow. I love Kelly. Not as much as B, but take a listen to Bad Habit on their last album 'Destiny Fulfilled' that's all Kelly's vocals right there. Song is tight. I think Matthew gave her that crazy idea of being alternative on her last album which the public just wasn't buying because he didn't want the girls competing in the same genre. Kelly is an r&b girl; I think she'll make it happen for herself. But I'm not feelin ANY of the rappers she's talking about collabin with...Remy Ma? ICK?

I think LeToya was one of the true talents and they blew it but I'm glad she had the tenacity and wherewithal to come back on her own. I wish Kelly luck cause that's what she's gonna need - and a lot of it.

Comment: I haven't really truely listened to Kelly sing as a solo artist, so, let's see what she does this year. She certainly has matured into a very attractive young woman with a lovely personality, and glows when she is on the small screen. I think if she continues to pursue other interest, she can develop into a regular celebrity/media interest as others have in the past. Good luck, Kell.

Comment: Kelly won the song for the collabo w/Nelly's "Dilemna" As w/anything, Kelly's singing ability is subject to each person's vision of what constitutes "good singing." That said, Kelly has a nice, smooth voice. It's truly R&B and hopefully she'll continue to do well. It's not the best voice..nor is it the worst and I don't think it's neccessary to have the best artists in any genre as the ONLY artists. Letoya has an ok voice...not as good as Kel but it's ok. But, I understand the desire for some people to automatically want Letoya to succeed and DC to fail based on their feelings toward a disbandment of which they know nothing about. I understand..its kewl. GQ...I've seen Remy perform twc and on the mike...she's no joke!

Comment: I have Kelly's CD and it's good. I like her voice because it isn't overbearing. I believe as she grows and matures she will have a good future as a singer and actress.

Comment: It's funny...when DC first started out and B was a little darker and fading in the backfround instead of standing out, I actually liked Kelly's voice better. She sang more on the first album. I think B's voice matured beter because she obviousl got more vocal training than Kelly. Her range is wider and she has a lot more control than in the earlier hits. As for someone calling Michele a backup singer, I think her two PLATIMUM gospels say otherwise LOL. Love her voice or hate it, her personality shines when she's not around B. I didn't like Kelly's last solo effort, but I wish her the best on her upcoming CD.

Comment: I wish Kelly well. But I heard a few songs from LeToya Luckett and she sings waaayyy better than Kelly. Actually, the first song I heard, I didn't know who the artist was and thought it may have been a scaled back version of Beyonce (without all of the yodeling and theatrics). She can definitely hold her own. Kelly's problem is she has gotten to complacent chillin in the spotlight of Beyonce and she needs to step up and be noticed.
