Comment: Why do we continually let Hollywood(BET included) shove this kind of crap down our throats. How is this being supported when so many, I'm sure, know that it is totally negative for us? Parents why let your kids watch this? It isn't harmless!! (attach this to any mainstream rap cd).

Comment: WOW !!!!!!!!!! I read about this show before its airing and was surprised to see it was created by the white guy who dated Lindsay Lohan. I had no interest but now I have noticed it airs frequently and has even replaced the time slot for "Wild n Out" - Nick
Cannon has actually stated that "Yo..." is a rip off of his show. However, Nick's show does not make horrific comments about our beautiful history.

Comment: Hopefully Blacks will really do something about this and not just sit back and let VIACOM and its Jewish-run and owned do this. You would NEVER get a show making jokes about "clipped di*cks" or "kikes" or "hooknoses." And in case you didn't know, these are all Jewish derogatory slang terms. It's time to stop letting these people who are running the media to keep putting out this negativity about Blacks. It's up to us to start doing something about this nonsense. Our kids are exhibiting NO self-pride and NO love (or knowledge for that matter) of our history to stand there and take as well as laugh at these kind of jokes. Too many Black parents have seriously let the ball drop.

Comment: Okay, I get your Black Panther rhetoric and all but I watch the show and the jokes are funny! The people involved all cut on each other harshly and the racial jokes go all ways - they crack on Latinos, blacks, whites - whoever steps up is fair game. To me, it's actually a good thing for them to be comfortable enough to joke like that. I joke like that with people I am cool with. The guy Harp had skills. That's all there was to it. The black guy could have gotten him but he wasn't clever enough. I don't think I'd let my child watch this, but my teenager, sure. He/she's gonna hear it at school anyway. We used to do this and race didn't matter...

Comment: I was thinking the same thing, queeniebunz. While I applaud the writer/attorney for shedding light on a new show that speaks volumes on the consciousness of our society (not Black people, brown, red, yellow or white), I'd have to question how many episodes he's seen because the two that I did see had two Black teen-age males going against each other but the cracks were not really over the edge, based on the game goes. Is it enlightening entertainment - no. But I'm not gonna bring race into all of this until the show falls into a pattern of racially-distasteful humor. Please keep us posted on it because, to be honest, I don't watch foolishness like that but we do need watchdogs in every arena. Let's look at it for what it really is: Yet another indigenous aspect of our culture that whites, the jewish, etc. have stolen (how dare I use the word "borrowed") and capitalized from. I'm all for keeping the community abreast of issues that may adversely affect us but we gotta pick and choose wisely - most of us don't even know we're at war. Peace...

Comment: Guess what they say is true; someone else's junk is another person's treasure. I couldn't even continue to look at this show after 5 mins. What this show is going to do is cause some serious fights. Since this show is obviously striking a chord with the teen crowd it will carry over into the schools where there is no supervision and someone's going to get hurt..watch what I say; the "n" word is going to be used soon and the controversy will begin. Then we will still be laughing?

Comment: >win - they had a show like this on HBO a while back only it was comedians only doing it. This show isn't going to cause race wars. The kids nowadays are too used to intermingling for that to happen. If you watch at the end of each battle, the kids all shake hands or give the "pound" and keep rolling. It's not about race. It's NOT even about your momma. It's about thinking on your feet and being clever. I understand that people don't like this show and all but I like clever shows. I like Nick Cannon's show, too because it's clever much of the time. Like an urban version of "Whose Line Is It?" so if you want to know the truth, Nick stole from that show...JMHO...Happy Friday all!

Comment: Thank you for not resorting to nasty name calling simply because I disagreed with you. I just remember growing up and anytime you said anything about someone's mother they were fighting words; people just didn't play like that. It is a new day though and maybe i'm stuck in the 60s. But enjoy your weekend!!

Comment: Why do so many Blacks continue to take such a lackadaisacal attitude to important things as if the bulk of us know our history inside and out? We're just not ready for continued prime time ridicule. What will it take for everything not to be just a "joke" or just "funny." Please!! If that's the case why aren't there just as many jokes about Jews and Whites. It's time to see the light and stop belittling "Black Panther rhetoric" as one poster commented.

Comment: This show sucks. The jokes are not funny. H#ll I could tell a better mama joke than most of them. If you look closely you can see the laugh tracks are cut and pasted in after most jokes. I watched one episode and was bored. I have played the mama joke before, however I didn't play with the "MAN", i would have never did that.C
