Comment: Who cares about that lily white show?!

Comment: Thun aint that the truth and why all the hate against a sista.

Comment: thechocolate10...why was I thinking the samething. Star is still getting paid.

Comment: Are you P.R. for Rosie O'Donnell? Your attack against Star while literally kissing Rosie's azz makes me wonder. Surely it can't be because Star married Al Reynolds that some people say is gay since you obviously accept Rosie's lesbianism so what has Star done to make you write such a hateful letter? I don't know why you think Star would be intimidated by Rosie since she holds her own against all those yt women already but do me a favor and hold your breath waiting on any one of them "putting Star in her place".

Comment: Sharomona> i thought i was gonna be attacked. At least some of us can support a sista without hate. Rosie is just as annoying

Comment: Everyone of course is entitled to his/her opinion, but I don't plan to watch the show now. I loved "The View" because of the special interest stories/conversations the ladies would discuss. Meredith could get her points across without being overemotional or having "divatude." But now it appears that people will now watch "The View" just to see the claws come out. It's going to wind up like another Geraldo with fights and chairs flying between Rosie and Star, their issues and their hisses. Hopefully they can get along professionally without making matters worse for the show, but I won't hold my breath.....

Comment: I believe Rosie was sent to put pressure on Star to leave--the writings on the wall and Rosie has not even made it to the show. Ratings--but Star can handle herself--they want to see her "squirm" on television--and Rosie is going after her---which is no longer entertainment--but humiliation in its worst way...those other women are acting "innocent" like they don't see it--but its so "junior high school"--hang in there Star!

Comment: This girl lost me when she called starruh vapid - starruh is a lot of things but vapid ain't even on the list. That line about family values was off base too and the ones she reps have more to do with gay families than anything or anybody else! I ain't no fan of starruh's but ever since rosie came out and got kicked off her own magazine the first thing she said was that MiJac should be sent to jail because he is a pedophile. I don't even remember if anybody asked her but I thought with all that was going on in her life at that point what a thing to say! Yep, the view brought rosie there to antagonize and push starruh's back to the wall and for no other reason as another poster mentioned. No show on national tv needs a gay representative.

Comment: How about putting your emotions aside, and instead focus on the business of making money. Rosie O'Donnell had a HUGE audience on her own show, before she voluntarily left to stay home with her children. You all are giving Star Jones too much credit if you think the show execs would go to such great lengths just to antagonize her. If they no longer wanted Star, they didn't have to renew her contract earlier this year. If you even watch "The View" occasionally (as I do), they had the young blond single woman when they started; they replaced her with the Asian single woman in a committed relationship; and they replaced her with a blond newlywed. The point is to reach a cross-section of viewers. Joy Behar represents middle-aged White women, and Star Jones represents middle-aged Black women. It's a good business move, not a racial conspiracy. LOL.

Comment: Has it occurred to anyone that all this "Star vs Rosie" drama is just to get more people to watch the show, gain more popularity and hopefully win an "Emmy" next year, since The View is passed over every year.
