Comment: Thunny..I agree..I think we do tend to have a double standard when it comes to the R Kelly's, MJ's, etc. But man if we stop supporting artists due to their private lives/lifestlyes we would probably have to stop supporting all artists cuz we all have skeletons in the closet. I mean..who woulda though that after all these years of supporting Kirk Franklin he was behind closed door chokin his chicken to porn.

Comment: Kirk Franklin jacking off and R Kelly molesting and peeing on innocent teenagers are completely different. For one, Kirk isn't breaking any law, nor is he harming anyone by pleasuring himself to adult videos.
And of course everyone has skeletons in their closets, but skeletons are a relative term. But the big difference between R Kelly and everyone else is that we have proof that he's done this! At least MJ was found not guilty.

Comment: Thunny, you always make me laugh. I hope I can keep those visuals out of my mind. I think a lot of Ronald's older fans think his gangsta mack Mr. Bigs is silly. All those tired call-and-response la-da-da's he does talking about women young enough to be his great-grandaughters. And those big azz teef from when they made dentures big as ice blocks. I'll always like Ronald Isley and he has persevered, but Mr. Bigs is an ignorant persona. I can see that at the 7-Eleven. I hope he beats the IRS because he's looking at a long sentence if he's convicted. These country dudes came up a different way. James Brown used to keep his money buried in a suitcase in his back yard.

Comment: I recently listened to this CD and I'm not impressed. Ron sounds truly weak and I feel that at this point in his life he is really pushing it. My friend bought me a copy of this CD and I'll just add it to my "gathering dust stack." I'll be sure to play it only when he's around.
