Comment: Gayle King is as dry as the Sahara when it comes to talk shows, reporting on talk shows, etc. I'm not a "View" fan, and i'm not a Star fan, but this entire situation is foul, and i kinda feel bad for Star. I think Rosie is ONLY being brought in to do Babwa Wawa's dirty work by forcing Star out, and teaming up with Joy to humiliate Star in the process. I don't think there is any intention for her to be there very long. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Rosie was only there for a year, if for that long. Don't be surprised if she has a 'new project' that will take up a lot of her time, and Babwa 'generously allows her out of her contract early'. I've read some people here say that Rosie is racist. She may be, but don't forget that she is the one who got Queen Latifah's talk show rolling. Maybe it's a thing of 'the Kids' looking out for each other. But hold up..Star and Gayle are 'friends'??? How would you feel about your 'friend' getting the job you were publicly forced out of ? Makes you think of a 'friend' who would get with your man right after y'all had a real ugly breakup, huh?

I don't watch the show, but I know Star wore out her welcome with her actions surrounding her wedding. Gayle didn't have anything to do with that. I think it is better to have a sista replace Star if that's in the works, than to have another pankie.

Comment: Gayle would be perfect for that job. The view is already a dull, bore-fest, so, Gayle joining would not make it any better or less than it already is. Gayle is a great conversationalist, which is what the show needs, and with Rosie bringing her lefted ideas of how life should be, it will probably be intolerable to watch or listen to.
