Comment: My first question would be why would they search the car if they stopped him for a traffic violation? After that it's either street cred or as you say, notice that a cd is about to drop. I still don't like this cat!

Comment: NJBLKGUY got it right. The more complete version of the story I heard had Game driving around Burbank in a Bentley with no license plates on it. No matter how ignorant Game may come across in his music he's not so stupid that he didn't know the car was missing its plates. So then he gets pulled over and he knows that if he gets found with a gun he'd be in big trouble, so he conveniently brings the next best thing - brass knuckles. He gets arrested, boosts his street cred, and his album will come out later this summer. Publicity stunt accomplished.

Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel was shot this morning (May 25) on a South Philadelphia street. While details are still being confirmed, sources told AllHipHop.com that Sigel was shot in a robbery attempt.
Police said shortly after 8:00 am, 5 men in two vehicles boxed the rapper in and that a man with a beard, jeans and boots open-fired on Sigel, striking him twice in the arm.
Sigel drove himself to a local hospital where he is being treated and expected to recover.
