If only 0.5% of homes are watching the show, it shows that the ESPN audience has little interest in Bonds, so why devote one journalist to covering him if people don't care? Did they do all this talk when Barry was closing in on the number 10, 9,8, 7 place record holders. No because they dont matter amd neither does the person in 2nd place. When great feats such as this are accomplished they do acknowledge who has been surpassed. If you watch baseball, when Bonds passed numbers 10,9,8,etc., they were recognized too, not to this level because they were lower in ranks. In order to get to number 1, you have to pass number 2. Are you at least in agreeance with that? We can discuss things of this nature all day. Let me quote you real quick. "Since when has there been so much talk about someone in second place?
