Comment: In Da News: I heard an interview with Bobby Brown on the radio this morning. He says that Whitney is in the studio working, spending a lot of time in church and bonding with her daughter. He also was asked about his sister and didn't she know that what goes on in the house stays in the house. He replied she knows it now. No denials. The King of R&B also said that Whitney needed him to make the money so she could handle other things and he was glad he was able to do that. New season of Being Bobby Brown coming up.

Comment: %*$ault With Bodily Fluids??????Police: 7 killed in Indianapolis home By CHARLES WILSON, Associated Press Writer 41 minutes ago Seven family members, including three children, were shot to death in their home on the city's east side, and police said Friday they were seeking two suspects. The children, ages 5, 8 and 11, were found in a bed late Thursday, while the adults were found throughout the home, police said. Indianapolis Police Chief Michael Spears said authorities were seeking Desmond Turner, 28, of Indianapolis, for questioning. Another suspect who was not identified also was being sought. Deputy Chief Tim Foley said Turner had a history of arrests on charges including %*$ault with bodily fluids and had served more than a year for a gun violation. Police identified the adult victims as Emma Valdez, 46; her husband, Alberto Covarrubias, 56; Flora Alderran, 22, Valdez' daughter; and Magno Aldarran, 29, Flora's husband. The children were identified as Luis Aldarran, 5, Flora Alderran's son; and Alberto Covarrubias, 11, and David Covarrubias, 8 or 9.

Comment: This is a PSA to all women, but especially to black women. All based on things I've observed on my daily commute to work. Now I’m not a fashionista, but I have some basic rules I go by. (1). White pantyhose never look good, with ANYTHING, on ANYBODY. Unless you're a nurse, don't wear them. (2.) Pantyhose should NEVER, EVER be worn with open-toed sandals. That's just not cute. I hear they make pantyhose without the line for that purpose, but I say if you’re going to wear the toes out, leave them naked. (3). If you own banana clips, throw them out. They're not cute. EVER. On anyone. No matter how long your hair is. (4). If you are blessed with an ample posterior leave the short pleated skirts alone. When you put a skirt on and turn sideways in the mirror and the back of the skirt is sitting two inches higher than the front, it's an indication of a bad fit. Buy it longer and have it tailored so the two sides fall to the same length. (5.) Skinny women – you jiggle too. Get it under control. They sell spandex undies in smaller sizes. Watching your rear end wobble as you run up the stairs does not help my appetite. (6.) If you are wearing sandals, have some pride and get a pedicure. Cut your toenails, paint them. Do something. Crusty, unpainted, overgrown toenails are never cute. (7.) LOTION, LOTION, LOTION – it should be a staple of every black woman’s wardrobe, especially those on the browner side. Nothing ruins an outfit faster than ashy knees. (8.) If you have corns, do us all a favor and find sandals that hide them. No matter how cute the paint job, the effect is ruined by that corn sitting high on your little toe. (9.) MY BIGGEST FASHION PET PEEVE. I’ve said this before – NO MORE PANTYLINES. No need to explain that one.

Comment: Under Heading "Nothing Better To Do": Duck X-ray reveals 'alien head' Thu Jun 1, 8:31 PM ET The International Bird Rescue Research Center in Cordelia plans to raise funds with an unusual duck X-ray. The bird came in with a broken wing, but when Marie Travers, assistant manager of the center, radiographed the duck, she was stunned to see a very clear image of what appeared to be the face, or head, of an extraterrestrial alien in the bird's stomach. "Marie looked at it and all she could say was 'unbelievable,'" said Karen Benzel, public affairs director for the rescue center, which has been rescuing sick and injured birds for more than three decades. Unfortunately, the duck died quickly and quietly of its injuries. Initial reports from the center claimed the cause of the alien face was never determined, but Benzel said she was still awaiting results of a necropsy. Either way, the center has come up with a way to turn its alien encounter into a fundraiser for the center. It will auction off the X-ray on eBay. The one-of-a-kind image, which measures 17-by-14 inches, will be sold along with a certificate of authenticity. All proceeds will go toward funding the center's rehabilitation programs. The auction begins Sunday.

According to a Phoenix police report, an officer read Johnson her rights before questioning her. The police report says Johnson acknowledged she got into an argument with Kettle but denies making any physical contact. Phoenix police say the matter would be turned over to the city prosecutor to determine if any misdemeanor charge should be filed. According to all involved, Johnson was upset that Kettle and boyfriend Jose Martinez kept standing and cheering, blocking the view of her children. One witness says Johnson used an obscenity when telling the pair to sit down.

Official Apologizes For Saying Bush Should Be Shot Between Eyes NEW YORK -- State Comptroller Alan Hevesi publicly apologized Thursday for a "beyond dumb" remark about a fellow Democrat putting "a bullet between the president's eyes." Hevesi called a mea culpa press conference hours after putting his foot in his mouth at the Queens College commencement. "I apologize to the president of the United States" and to the fellow state politician, Sen. Charles Schumer, Hevesi said. "I am not a person of violence. "I am apologizing as abjectly as I can. There is no excuse for it. It was beyond dumb." At the news conference, a contrite Hevesi repeated what he recalled saying in the speech. The comptroller said he was merely trying to convey that Schumer has strength and courage to stand up to the president on major policy issues. According to a videotape of the speech, Hevesi said: "The man who, how do I phrase this diplomatically, who will put a bullet between the president's eyes if he could get away with it. The toughest senator, the best representative. A great, great member of the Congress of the United States." Hevesi said he hadn't been in touch with the White House but he hoped his apology reached President Bush.

I was skeptical at first, because I knew this source had a crush on this particular boxer. Only days after being released from the hospital, [Ed's note: Beans was shot in a botched robbery on May 25th] the self-proclaimed broad street bully has dropped a new song, "Why Wouldn't I." On the song's intro, Sigs addresses the shooting directly, declaring, "oh yeah, %*$!( I'm here. I ain't going nowhere. You %*$!(@ giving out punk %*$ flesh wounds." Beans then said it was ludicrous for him to get robbed. But, in an attempt to throw a topic out there, how about discussin a movie or t.v. episode that had real subject matter to it. I mean a subject so real it would make you think what if i was in those shoes? What would I probably do? I remember once seeing a episode of Soul food. It was about the three sisters findin out there father had a daughter from another women the half sister just happen to be played by non other the ms. Tara Banks. She played her role good too BTW. Tara showed up at one of there doors & introduced herself. Stated her case told them the reason why she was there was her mom had passed away & she wanted to be buried next to her father which is already buried next to his wife the others girl mom. Well two of the sisters went off on the chile. They started remembering how when they were kids at xmas when there father wasn't home with them they realized now as adults he was with his other woman & her child. Also, one remembered that pops had brought her a lil red car. Pops told babygirl the car was in shop to be fixed she never got her car back. Come to find out pops gave the car to his daughter from his other womans daughter & that's the car she came rollin up to there house in. So picture that. Yes two of the sisters was heated. They saw it as ain't no way this girl (in there minds) mom was gettin buried next to their moms. However, One sister was standin by the the outcast as they put it. Sayin that the girls mom had every right to be buried next to her baby daddy if that is truly what the mom wanted. Anywho I know this is long b/c I'm just tryin to get yall to have visual of what was happening. Anywho, hard as the two sister fort against it, In the end Tara was able to buried her moms next to the father of her child. Now for me I could feel the emotions runnin all up & thru. My mom had five kids from my dad.(his first wife) He also had four kids from his second wife. All of us of course have his last name. However we never knew each other until we became grown. I would hate for it to have been a battle of us vs. them. I really enjoyed that espisode. Anyone else got something.

Comment: There's more "real life" drama going on too in my family. Okay, here's the story. When I was 5, I was molested by my cousin (then 15). This same cousin also molested several family members, both male & female. I suppressed this memory for years and it finally began to haunt me a few years ago. Another one of my 1st cousins was also molested by him and like me, she suppressed it for years too. So, throughout the years of growing up, everything in the family was fake & phony cuz this sleezeball was still coming over to my momma's house for holiday's and just anyday for that matter and everyone in the family just ignored what happened to me and to countless other people just to keep the family peace. Until early last year...my 1st cousin & I found out that this bas*tard had molested our younger 14 year old cousin RECENTLY, like in 2002. We could no longer surpress our feelings...we could no longer take it...enough was enough...EF family peace! She & I went to the police last March 2005 and filed a report against him since nobody else would. We told them about our molestations and about the others that we knew of.

Comment: Sorry, I clicked submit too quick...her's the rest of the story...Now, lemme briefly explain this demon to y'all...he has a ZILLION kids, 10 that we know of and the s.o.b. don't take care of not-a-one! He has quit jobs so that he wouldn't have to pay child support...he has changed his name & ssn so that he won't have to pay child support...he has extorted money from church...while he was married to his first "set" of kids momma, he got the 16 year old babysitter pregnant and she had the baby. He was a muslim then and the girls father + others ripped him a new as*s*hole for that! Needless to say, he was kicked outta the Maas. This slimeball has taken advantage of young girls for years cuz he's one of those smooth talkers and for some reason, these girls fall for him. Anyway, after my cousin & I pressed charges against him last year, his sister had the NERVE to call me and BEG me to drop the charges claiming that her mother, my aunt, was really sick and that she may be dying!!! WTF??? I told her that I was not God and I have no control on whether she lives or dies. She also talked to my cousin to try to get her to drop the charges...no dice. So, neither she nor her mother (our aunt) have spoken to us or our mothers since we've turned him in. My cousin's father died last month and my aunt had the AUDACITY to show up not at the funeral, but at the repas*s. She didn't speak to me, but she spoke to my cousin since it was her father that died. My mother spoke to her, this trick ignored her & didn't speak back. So, now, my aunt is missing everybody cuz she used to always come over on the holidays. The point that I'm trying to get to is the fact that my aunt is so ignorant, that she refuses to speak to my momma or anyone else cuz her beloved "son" has fleed the country & is a fugative. Comment: I want to thank you guys so much for the well wishes and what not. It's been really rough for me at times, but my God is my strength and HE'S the reason I stand here today to tell my story. It doesn't hurt to tell it now like it used to. >OSUN, my mother has apologized and is SOOOO remorseful for trying to keep the family peace by ignoring what happened to me & allowing that demon to continue to come to our home. My cousin (the one that has the demon for a brother) also tried to talk to my momma thinking that my momma could get me to drop the charges but my momma told her that she would support any decision that I make and she's behind me 100% and that really makes me feel good. I love my momma and I don't resent her (now) for continuing to allow him over to our home. I don't hold grudges, I forgave her & my daddy. It took about 5 years of arguing & bickering but I can finally say that my parents & I have a better relationship now than we've ever had because now everything is out in the open and we've communicated frequently about the problems that I've had with them then & now. God has truly worked it out, fa sho.
