Comment: ...I've known cats like DMX whose parents beat 'em with extension cords, irons, hot wheel tracks and it's true...They never called the authories...Nowadays kids call the cops if you don't buy 'em a pair of Jordans or an I-pod...Times have changed...I feel for dude...Just because these cats are entertainers doesn't mean that they don't have serious issues...I'm not trying to justify erratic and criminal behavior but there's reasons why stars fucc up sh1t....You give a cat with unsolved issues alot of money...ya gonna have some problems...

Comment: I agree Boot - you don't continually get into these petty azz scrapz for no reason and his continued drug use is but one symptom. I pray this man gets his life together - I saw the interview he did on the Sharon Osbourne show and this brother is thoughtful, thought provoking, articulate and very intelligent. He spoke one of his mantra's for Sharon and I almost cried. After 'Lose my Mind' I wasn't sure if he even had a brain (I couldn't stand that damn song). I was in Harlem this past weekend and they held a juneteenth parade complete with several groups of young sisters and brother in marching bands and lo and behold a float with DMXs Ruff Ryders comes sliding down Malcolm X Avenue. Now if had had his azz on that float - this wouldn't be a story! I also believe 50 has a radar on him cause every time he breaks wind, they are right there.

Comment: Does he have a new CD out?

Comment: DMX's problems we have all known started years ago. If we have seen stories from his life in group homes and now this, we know that his troubles run deep. He should get some counseling.

Comment: DMX Daily Crime Log...braaahaaaa! "Lose My Mind" is my work anthem!

Comment: X does have a new album coming out very soon. It's getting zero to no push from his record company and the video looked very cheap. But, as long as X has money, he will forever be able to bail himself out of these misdemeanors he stays catching.

Comment: I hear what a lot of you are saying but...shouldn't at some time in a person's life, they take responsibility for their actions?? I mean DMX is in his thirties, in a few years when he's 40, these excuses won't bode well...blaming his momma for stuff that happened twenty five- thiry years back

Comment: When you grow up in a normal household it's difficult to hear a story like this after a person is grown and they are cuttin up, same for those child rape stories. As soon as you get of an age most of us think these folks should receive the necessary help and get over it. That just means we have no concept of how this abuse has affected them and sometimes it does not manifest til later in life. So to those that think he should just snap his fingers and get over it - may you never suffer any ills of life in your lifetime. FYI if his mother abused him her azz should be put on blast!

Comment: I'm down with X, moreso as a person that happens to be in the public eye than as an entertainer although he's nice as an emcee. Unfortunately, it comes a time, for some (most) people, to lie down on that long, comfy couch and face those demons. He'll be a better man for it.

Comment: Initially, I thought maybe he was being targeted until I read he was stopped three different times in three different cities. If DMX is justifying his actions on how he was treated as a child, I can see how it could be used as an excuse (initially), but at some point, knowing the root cause of the problem (him momma), he needs to deal with it in an adult way. If he ends up fatally harming someone else while he's behind a wheel acting out, I honestly don't think that will be excepted as an excuse given his track record. Someone mentioned counseling, and someone else mentioned him having money, paying for counseling to deal with his behavior would be the adult thing to do. JMO

Comment: I can not believe how insensitive you people are about abusing a your child, makes me wonder what type of parents you are or will be.

Name: TMan
Comment: DMX is acting more and more like his character in Belly.

Name: YLawdY
Comment: I don't think anyone is being insensitive to his abuse or advocating snapping his fingers to get over it. He knows he was abused, he knows he has issues, he knows he has a strange relationship with cars and he knows he's got money. Do something about it. Get counseling or get a horse.

Name: bregette
Comment: I agree he should get help, but my comment was for shakaz0117 who had the sarcastic remark. By the way I meet him and even was back stage with him and he was a total gentleman the whole time.

Name: McNasty
Comment: indipin the fact that he's been in several cities over the last few weeks and he's not on a promotional tour but 5 0 keeps running up on him seems a little suspect to me.

Name: Thunny
Comment: Hip-hop cops. They're real. The state and federal funding for them is real. It's no coincidence. He's under surveillance.

Name: sweetpea
Comment: DMX's spirit is conflicted. Reading some articles about his childhood is very tragic. I pray that he forgives his mother & others that have abused, used and mistreated him. I pray that he finds peace & happiness and uses his gift that God has blessed him with in a positive way.

Name: SpecialK
Comment: He is crying out for help!! Sad, very very sad!

Name: Fivepages
Comment: i've always enjoyed DMX's style the way he flows. but he is at the point in his life, where can make his own decisions. personally i feel he needs intense counseling to deal with all that in the past so he can get on with a more positive future. he may have to make some drastic changes in his life, which hey, probably will do him some good.

Comment: Usually I say give a young black man a chance or two in a society that is constaly trying to put him down. In this case, please throw this hood-rat, thug in jail and leave him there for about 25 years, and maybe then he will get some common sense. This guy is a fool with some obvious mental health issues.
