Comment: Ok, I thought that Elizabeth was supposed to represent the younger woman (Lisa Ling, Debbie S.). Joy offers the comedy (Rosie!), Meredith was the fair one, offered the news and Star was the minority sister bringing diva fashion. So it makes no sense to have Rosie and Brandy! It just doesn't. I think Sheryl Lee Ralph would be excellent for this position, and I know Elizabeth is supposed to be the younger one but Ananda Lewis would be a better addition! Shoot this is even a better fit for Tyra, but that won't happen. So who will bring the diva fashion? Maybe Kimora Lee if she lowers her voice a few octaves. So let's see: Rosie, Ananda, Joy, Elizabeth.

Rolanda Watts would be an excellent replacement, she does have a journalist back ground from the 80s and remember her show was pretty interesting. Comment: Not a Star fan, but not pleased with the way she was tossed out by BabwaWaWa. My opinion: as much as i love to see my Sistahs doing their thing in the entertainment industry, i feel like BW has made more than enough money off of Black women, especially when she's made it plain that she has little to no understanding of, or respect for us. I know Iyanla Vanzant kicks herself to this day for going with BW to produce her talk show instead of Oprah (who helped to make her a household name). It's been pointed out on these boards several times that "The View" is on its very last legs anyway. Why else would they have hired Rosie O'Donnell ? Straight white women don't even really like her, and that's their core audience. Besides, Rosie doesn't fit anywhere on this show. There is already a Rosie-type on the show named Joy Behar. The only real difference between the two is that one is straight and the other one isn't. They are both loud, obnoxious, annoying, and unfunny. I still think Rosie will leave "View" well before the end of her contract (if the show is still on by then), because she wasn't supposed to be on for a long period of time to begin with. I think this whole thing was a setup to intimidate Star into leaving early. Don't be surprised if Rosie comes up with a 'special and time consuming new project', and asks out of "View". Be even less surprised if Babwa 'graciously allows her out of her contract'. Then they will have to replace her as well (i think they aren't just looking for Star's replacement now; but for Rosie's too on the QT). Someone made the point that whomever takes over from Star is going to be the scapegoat (along with Star) for the show's demise. I agree, and i think the other fall woman should be a white girl, not another Sista to drag through the mud. Let them hire another white chick. I could really care less; i will never watch their show again.

Comment: Barbara Walters want someone that she can hold the reins on. What black woman wants to known as a puppet for BaBa WaWa on the View? She wants to make sure there are no more 'loose cannons' on her show. Brandy, please go back to singing! This is not where you need to be. And Rosie has not even got there yet. I know Brandy has a brain, so why be a puppet for Barbara Walters? I know it does your career no good to be known as the one on the View that only laughs and caters to an old, past her time white woman.

Comment: @Goldie - Do you actually think that BaBa WaWa will put on black women that will kick her azz like Sheryl Lee Ralph, Vivica A. Fox or Jada Pinkett-Smith. That show would turn into Springer so fast but the necessary azz-whuppins' would would be needed to check those trifilin' azz white B's. If I was Brandy, on Friday, I would check ever last one of those ho's and let them know they aren't even worthy enough to kiss her azz. And then walk off the set!
