Comment: Can I tell you something? Back in the spring, I knew a Republican political operative. He told me that our people were actually helping Landrieu, 'cause Nagin was such a boob. We figured that Baby Brudder would be slightly more competent than Ray. But Nagin won, so that's the dance card that brung us. Who knows, he may actually turn out well. However, there is no color line when it comes to corruption in Lousiana. That's why all the smart money went to Texas years ago. The black community will go nowhere politically as long as it is beholden to one political party. We aren't going to give a flying rat's %*$ about people who scream "Uncle Tom" every time someone like Rice or Blackwell actually tries to get elected on the Republican ticket. White liberals like the Clintons smile every time they hear that, 'cause that means they have you in their pocket. They don't owe you jack, because they don't have to fight for your vote. When no one has to fight for your vote, no one has to perform. That's why nothing changes. I just want to chuckle every time I see Tavis Smiley put on that dog and pony show called "State of the Black Union". What a joke. A gaggle of black leaders who get into a room so they can agree with each other and warn the Democrats not to take them for granted. Oh well...Perhaps immigration will be the straw that breaks the camel's back, but I wouldn't count on it. The white liberals are expert at conning you folks to look the other way while they try to allow Mexican illegals over the Rio Grande so they can get them registered as Democrats. Funny how the only people screaming about this are some of the people on this board, the Minutemen, and the conservatives. If the black community wants to remain beholden to white Democratic politicians, go right ahead. There are plenty of Latinos around. More of them, too. That may be unfair, but that's politics.

Comment: Kenneth Blackwell is the biggest azzhole to ever walk this green planet. He went thru extraordinary lengths to get Dubya elected while trying to make it difficult to vote Democrat in this last debacle that was called an election. Now he's trying to use the same tactics to get elected the first Black gov of Ohio. I can't wait for him to have his "crash" moment and he will when he realizes that Ohio will never elect a Black man as governor. Also while it may not seem like much to you I can't criticize Tavis Smiley for what he tries to do. At least he puts it out there of what the Democrats and Repugnants are doing or not doing. While you were pointing out the obvious Democrats mistakes I see you ignored Dubya and his many mistakes which is typical Repugants. Before you put down the democratic party and tell folks why they shouldn't vote Democrat please tell me why we should vote Republican.
