Comment: He better be glad he didn't land in Uganda...Idi Amin (Da-Da) would have eaten the azz!!

Name: shakaz0117
Comment: It was rumored that Naomi "Miss Personality" Campbell, may have had some pull in getting him pardoned.

Name: TJthemilitant
Comment: I guess any ol' hotel just wouldn't do for Nay Nay!...She had to carry her azz to Dubai..Must have been cheaper...LOL

Name: robijoa
Comment: I'm sorry, but wrong is wrong and the law is the law. He should still be over there in that jail.

Name: DoctorSmooth
Comment: This is ridiculous. I hate to see people get over just because they're rich or famous. If he was some bus driver or electrician, hed still be in jail right now. Its a shame that all over the world judges are influenced by a persons wealth or power in dispensing justice. As a matter of fact, this isnt justice, this is a disgrace. I'm just disgusted when I see stuff like this.

Comment: TJMIL>uh, sweetie, i don't think so. have you SEEN the Burj Al Arab hotel? it's the only 7 star hotel. and only the serious of the serious bigballers go to that hotel. when i first saw it, it literlly took my breath away! if you have not seen this hotel, give me your email address and i will send you the email address to show you pictures. absoultly beautiful! Dallas Austin needed his arse kicked for missing out on that party! i know he will kiss american soil when he comes home.

Name: Sharmona
Comment: Who thought that he was actually going to go to jail? Just like someone said last week, "He will be out bu Thursday, back in Atlanta by Friday partying!" They ain't never lied.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: A THREE DAY PARTY AT THE BURJ AL ARAB HOTEL?? SHOOT! THAT'S A PARTY TO END ALL PARTIES. THAT'S WAY OVER THE TOP.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: TJ>oops! my bad. this is a five-star hotel.

Name: QueenCityBee
Comment: Another lucky/blessed mofo!

Comment: Dubai is a well known playground for the rich and famous. Very beautiful and exotic Middle-Eastern island country. As far as Dallas Austin, he must have paid the gov't really well because he would be serving four years without a doubt. Money talks all the time! Unfortunately, this is not a wake up call for him because he will do it again. Some folks just think they are invincible!!

Name: SpecialK
Comment: Chilli must be so proud of her baby daddy!! Nothing but the grace of God got him out.

Name: coesmo
Comment: This isn't right...he should still be in jail...how can you carry cocaine on you and say you didn't intentionally break the law?

Name: EdnaMae
Comment: Yet another foolish young black man adding onto the sterotype around the world that young black men are drug dealers, and low lifes, disgusting. They should have jailed him for life.

Name: bigheadbull2
Comment: Say it Chassie I have a classmate and she is now a friend who is from there and is moving back. Her parents are royalty and came here for a visit in March. They met me and loved me so much they want her to bring me with her when she and her husband and baby visit in September. It is overly done in my opinion, excess to the max but those people have loot to boot. Don't know if I am willing to travel over there cause I ain't lost nothing over there. LOL

Name: Harriet
Comment: This is no diffent than Kate Moss being photographed snorting cocaine and having those photo's published. She wasn't even worried about jail time, but endorsements, and she has gotten every one of those back. Although illegal, there are certain American professions where you can get as focked up as you want and not worry about fear of reprisal, ANYWHERE. Modeling, professional sports, and entertainment are just a few of them. Of course he took cocaine to a Naomi Campbell party!

Name: bigheadbull2
Comment: They don't want this mess on their hands as my friend told me crime rate is almost 0 because those people have everything they need including the so called poor. This place is a study in over done

Name: JBONEZ
Comment: I hope he treats his drug problem. Some people feel they are so high and mighty that they refuse to admit a drug problem. He should be in jail for atleast 1 yr. Thanks for showing the youth that COCAIN is acceptable and cool. LOSER

Name: PEACHES4U
Comment: Dallas Austin is lucky. According to the laws of the UAE he should be underneath the jail. NOW, he wants to thank God. I do hope he realizes God is no joke, and His wrath is not to be toyed with. God's grace is sufficient! I prayed for Dallas in the beginning of this fiasco and I will continue. I hope he 'get's it.'

Name: khufu
Comment: Really? you consider him "blessed?"

Name: khufu
Comment: sadly this is the mentality (Dallas') that dominates our young rich celebs..................what would posses him to do such a thing in the first place? why is he doing drugs? see, doomed. Imagine how much drugs got through to the party.

Name: Fragrance
Comment: I would like to see those photos of the hotel. email me at www.myspace.com/princene Also, I hope that Dallas counts his blessings and does a short film on why people should re-consider taking drugs...like a documentary. There is still a lot of good that can come out of this...Now that we see that lil Kim is out let's pray for all our people in the industry. I think when they fall down (or knock down, like Naomi) the world notices...When we fall down, only God may see it. Either way, we are all in the same boat...needing salvation and mercy.

Name: khufu
Comment: pray for them? listen, when I see how gospel music has been worldly, prayer needs to be said for the gospel industry more than others.....prayer is cool but do you think maybe ministers need to do a lil more than that? maybe hold conferences and do some public things? Ya'll use the prayer "thing" a a crutch...after prayer how about some action...nobody should buy anything by Dallas Austin....

Name: khufu
Comment: furthermore "fragrance" you say when they "fall down"....when were they ever standing? ever consider that the industry is the devil's playground?

Name: QueenCityBee
Comment: Khufu> You startin to lose me now. What is not buyin anything of Dallas A. gonna do. The way I see it the only person he hurt was himself. I'm not the one to judge this fool. That's his battle.

Name: khufu
Comment: we make our celebs and then dont hold them responsible and accountable....boycotting used to be a method to protest and express one's dis-satisfaction with someone's actions....negative actions towards us...we can jump on board a boycott against a white champagne manufacturer but can not grasp the need to boycott those Black folks killing one another culturally and ideologically.......see, Black folks will award Dallas' behaviour like they did and do R. Kelley's.....I say we need to express discontent

Name: Thunny
Comment: If he got busted in Thailand there would be no amount of money or influence that could have gotten him pardoned or released in less than 10-15 years.

Name: Priceless
Comment: now that's one lucky mofo

Name: thechocolate10
Comment: he or somebody paid them off Thunny> you could be right but money does talk. but Thailand did cane the american boy mmmmh who knows

Name: queeniebunz
Comment: People see this as him getting over and all but those people didn't do him any favors. Cocaine is a very addictive drug. As long as there are no consequences, he will sink further into the habit. I worked at an addiction treatment center and saw first hand how destructive the drug can be. This is a not a good thing to promote to our youth. As much as it shouldn't knowing what I know about addictions, it still surprises me how many people disregard the risks / consequences of drug use to use them. Very sad.

Name: khufu
Comment: LOL take it from Rick James..."cocaine is a helluva drug..."

Name: Thunny
Comment: Queenie, he's rich and famous, cocaine comes with the territory. It's sad but in this day and age of designer drugs there are for worse drugs on the black market than cocaine. He was caught with ecstacy too.

Name: Victornator
Comment: As a condition of his pardon, they should have made him attend rehab. Oh boy, we have got another Witney on our hands. I can see the tabloids now, photo of Dallas in a fur coat, ragedy do rag, taking out the garbage in 100 degree heat.

Name: prettygirl
Comment: From FOXnews: Hip-Hop Producer Leaves Dubai Hip-hop producer Dallas Austin is on a plane home this morning after spending a month in a Dubai prison. Sources tell me Austin and his lawyers left Dubai around midnight ET last night and should be back in Atlanta sometime this morning. Sources in Dubai say Austin received a pardon Tuesday after a short trial on Sunday. Austin was arrested in May when cocaine and a variety of other drugs were found on him. Dubai, like most countries, takes a dim view of drug possession. But officials there also want their little state to become the Las Vegas of the Middle East. So imposing a larger fine on Austin would have been more of a penalty to them than to Austin in the long run. Austin went to Dubai for supermodel Naomi Campbell’s birthday party. At this rate, the words “Naomi Campbell” should send out warning bells to anyone associated with the beauty.

Name: bigchassie
Comment: FRAGRENCE>Google Burj Al Arab Hotel. there will be pictures of the exterior and interior of the hotel. it looks like a sail and it changes color at night. it's a breathtaking place.

Name: beegirl
Comment: I think Naomi dates the prince of Dubai, so she probably helped him get out. LOL thinking back to the story from last week where people in his camp said that Dallas wasn't really in jail and the rumors were made up by "haters"! ha ha ha.

Name: Fragrance
Comment: bigchassie, thanks! khufu - Is breathing a crutch too? I guess I shouldn't say that we should do the obvious....it is a command that we should pray at all times, like breathing. I think that I don't pray enough but when I get into trouble, yeah, I want it...I even remember people who have problems to ask me or others to pray for them too. It is part of our culture...we breathed (I mean prayed) our way out of slavery...maybe we would all be in our chains looking at massa's computer on our 'down' time..seein' what massa gates gave us so we could continue on these board and say what a crutch prayer is...anyway, off my subject...He is one lucky man. (Holding my breath cause i'm crutchin now)

Name: bigchassie
Comment: BEE>WHAAAATT?? Nay-Nay is dating the prince of the big D? Geesh! you go gurl! work that thang!!

Name: khufu
Comment: when we pray without action when ACTION is required to put the prayer im totion we break the law that states: FAITH WITHOUT WORLD IS DEAD..i am not against prayer what I am saying is, in this case, praying for people who KNOW THEY ARE CHOOSING DEATH OVER LIFE mght be futile.....and sometimes after prayingm you need to challenge and/or confront them and their actions....
