Comment: Talk about deja vu and payback. I was thrown in jail in 1970 for demonstrating against Brigham Young University when they played Colorado State University. BYU, a Mormon school, had doctrine that Black folks had no souls and could never enter heaven. I like to think that my jail time helped Mormons change that stupid theology. Also, Black Panther leader Eldridge Cleaver was a Mormon before he died and I THINK Gladys Knight is a Mormon. Orrin Hatch wrote a song for one of her albums. When we traveled to BYU to play basketball, we couldn't bring coffee, caffeine soda and other things on campus. Mormons are zillionaires and don't need nobody's money.

It is a odd faith when you read it, and thier disdain for blacks wasn't there in the start, it happened over time, and they have a off shoot cult that still does the polygamy thing, and when they kick the boys out, theyhave to deal with the real world, and seem to have a major problem using the "n-word" too freely when dealing with blacks and have had quite a few beatdowns for doing so!

Comment: Hey Edna Mae. Lemmee tell ya. The Mormons used to come past my dorm when I was a freshman at Colordado State Unive. and I ALWAYS noticed that they would NEVER let you sit next to a WHITE mormon female. There had to be a Mormon male between you and the white woman. I lived in Green Hall and if any of the posters out there went to CSU during this time they know who I am. Also, the movie star Jimmy Stewart had a son who lived in my dorm and I remember seeing him on campus. His name was Rod on Ron. He went to Viet Nam and was killed immediately and Jimmy Stewart NEVER got over his death. I remember him coming to one of our parties seeing all the brothers with Miss Charlene on their arms but he wasn't alarmed. He wanted to play football at my school but really wasn't that much athletic. The Star of our team was Oscar Reed who played for the Minn. Vikings and went to Super BOwl. Another Black History moment from Fanteeking!!
