Comment: I think that's a very conscientious thing for Tyra to do. HOWEVER, it would have been a bit more effective if she had banned airbrushing BEFORE she retired. It's not like any other super-model is going to agree to this and Tyra isn't exactly in high demand anymore. As far as her getting heavier women on ANTM, I think that's nice as well but I just don't see one winning the whole thing. The closest was Toccara and every week there was someone complaining about her weight. America loves the fantasy of of 'perfection' and anyone over a size 4 isn't considered a fantasy money-maker. I love Ebony & Essence but I just don't feel that Tocarra is going to become a super model unless she can get more exposure and the only way to do that will be for her to lose weight.

Comment: Tyra, Tyra it seems yo are now addressing these issues after you have retired and gained weight. If you asked those diet water drinking, ultra skinny, ugly as h.e.l.l without make-up looking, clumsy models to do without airbrushing and laxatives.....there may only be two or three models left...... This is good PR to keep your viewers. Are you going to address these issues with ANTM. Then again, maybe you want to ride the coat tail on FAT CHANCE. Also, why would Tyler date a known tramp. brother hit it and quit it.

Comment: if tyra encourages plus size models for antm then why did she make the comment to that girl named keenya that was gaining a little weight that she needed to lose weight? she said that models needed to be a certain size, she did state that it wasn't fair but it was reality.....a plus size woman will never win antm, heck they don't even make it that far in the competition so i know one won't win.

Comment: Toccara did the celebrity fit club and in spite of herself lost a considerable amount of weight. She was most recently on that spiritual talk show on bet and probably a size 8 or 10. It's crazy but I liked her size on antm. Tyra big ups to you girl - she has a very large fan base from her talk show and antm and young girls need more real role models that can influence them positively.

Comment: I truly believe when Tyra was a model she didn't have control of her image. Now she does and I'm glad she's no longer airbrushing her photos. However, I Tyra herself has complained about contestants’ weight on ANTM. They have the "heavier" contestants but complain about their weight the entire time they are so the show... for me that's contradictory.

Comment: Ask forgivesness not permission. Celebreties have complained about being fixed by some editor, only to get a lame azz apology after the fact. This has happened to Madonna who had her gap "corrected" by some editor Harpers Bazaar for the cover. I don't think models really have any control over airbrushing of their images. Models aren't really hired for their editorial opinions (to airbrush, or not to airbrush).

Comment: Oh this batch is sooo damn fake - - every week a new gimic to keep her lame azz talk show on the air...I personally thought Tocarra was the hottest girl on ANTM how contradictory of Tyra to act like she's for "normal sized woman" oh and Tyra and Tyler are sisters there's no way in hell that Tyler Perry is straight...

Comment: Without the weave and heavy make-up, Tyra is average/ugly looking. She has admitted that she might not have had a successful modeling career if it wasn’t for the fake hair and heavy make-up. Tyler Perry and Tyra are friends. Tyler Perry is not straight, but that doesn’t bother Tyra because in the modeling industry there are a lot of gay men (make-up artist, clothing designers, etc..).

Comment: I have never seen a T Perry movie. I've seen bits and pieces and only a few. I meant to see "Diary" but never got around to it, but go on T Perry make that money and be successful as you can. I'm hoping the more work he does the better he will get, because I don't like stereotypical stuff, but people seem to love his stuff. I wish they would quit saying rumored boyfriend or whatever when they refer to eithr one of them, just talk about the person, cause noone knows if they are together or not and really who cares! I like Tyra, she admits her flaws and i feel she is completely real. I wish her much continued success and whether she's made comments or not, which I know i heard her on ANTM, about being to big, but Kenya was gainging weight her stomach was getting to fat for her size, anyway, maybe Tyra has had a change of heart or learned some things since then,whatever, more power to you. I love it when my black people succeed and Exceed people's expectations, Go ahead and don't be pigeonholed girl! Obviously I have too much time on my hands to type all of this. LOL!
