Comment: It may be a different form of marketing sultry. Reach out to the fans, get them involved in the creation of something having to do with her and her album. If you really think about it, its pretty clever. Think about how many fans Janet has and how many of them would want to get involved in this. Heck, the amount of cover designs will be staggering!

Comment: I think the album cover is already picked out and pressed. I think that this is an attempt to bring some additional publicity to the album since the lead single is lackluster and not performing well. A very weak attempt might I add....

Comment: I agree- the first single sucks big time. When her song came on the radio today, I had to stop what I was doing and stand motionless in order to understand what she's saying. Even then, I still can't make out some of the words. I sure hope the rest of the album is better.

Comment: the reason the you had to stop motionless is because she cannot sing period!!! anytime that the music is louder than the words you are saying you cannot sing. Janet never could sing to me in my opinion , she could only do those dance steps that she was taught to go along with her video. She has got this far only because she is Michael's little sister and she is cute. She cannot even act good to me either and trust me it is not hateraid going on here , it is just my opinion that I am entitled to. She need to consider something else, maybe a record label and get her some acts on it, that is her best bet because she is history in my book. If I stepped on some toes too bad , just grab the toes, say "all" and deal with it . Janet just ain't all what she used to be.

Comment: Sultry, no disrespect but none of us are what we used to be. We all change, and we all grow. Some for the better, some not for the better, but people should be allowed to grow. Janet and her brothers are ENTERTAINERS and if you've ever seen a Jackson concert, you'd know what I'm talking about. Sammy Davis, Jr. was not a great singer, either, but he entertained the world with his comedy, singing and dancing. No, Janet is no Aretha Franklin, but it's a voice, a sweet, melodic voice. Janet is the prototype. If there was no Janet, there'd probably be no J-Lo and no Beyonce. J-Lo took Janet to another level; and Beyonce took J-Lo to another level. Crazy in Love is all J-Lo, but that's the song that made B a star. Now, Janet is irrelevant? Not to her real fans.

Comment: One more thing. Personally, an artist doesn't have to repeat the past for me to be a fan. All I ask is that the artists I love keep making their art. That's why I admire real talented artists, instead of the marketed ones. Janet's been in the business for 20 years and it wasn't marketing. She was/is truly entertaining. I don't believe many of these so-called artists of today has that kind of staying power because they are marketed, promoted and sold with a hint of talent.
