Comment: I love Tiger and I love the relationship he had with his father. I have so much respect for parents who help their children become 'great'. I feel for Tiger and I wish him well...

Comment: As tight as I'am with my Pop the thought of Tiger losing his really put the importance of family up front and center. No matter how much money you have you can't buy family and I hope that the lessons that Mr. Woods gave to his son will enable him to keep on climbing and achieving.

Comment: Thinker - You are obviously one of those people that imports your definition of being Black on others.
I would be interested in knowing who else is not "Black" in your opinion and why.

Comment: His dad just died in May; he hasn't begun to feel the pain. It's been 17 years since my dad succumbed to a massive heart attack and sometimes it seems like yesterday when I got that call. Trust me Tiger..you have some dark days ahead of you but time really does help you heal. My prayers to you and your family as you go thru this healing process.

Comment: Tiger had a beautiful relationship with his dad and it had nothing to do with being black, just a lot to do with being human. His dad help make him a great golfer and the #1 african american golfer in the world. His father will always be in his heart and that will keep him strong.

Comment: I wish Tiger the best as he continues in his career and his life as a man. I only wish that my brother had had half the man Earl Woods was to his son - most of the fatherless boys I knew in my neighborhood growing up wouldn't know which direction to find their absent fathers - most of those boys were in pain, and chose the wrong things to salve that pain.
