Comment: Rapper Method Man almost made good on his promise to "see" NY radio shock jockWendy Williams yesterday when he made an unexpected visit to WBLS New York offices. Method Man uttered the words "you'll see me" to Wendy during an emotionally charged interview with internet video show The Break Down.
Last month Williams told her listeners that Method's wife had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. A distraught Method said his wife's family was not aware that she had cancer. Williams was tipped to Method's visit amid unconfirmed reports that the station had booked the rapper without Williams' knowledge. Williams sent her man servant producer Charlemagne to the lobby to question Meth. Meth sent word to Williams that he was seeking information on Williams' hospital source. According to online reports, Williams had previously stated on the air that the information was faxed to her by a hospital source.
By reporting the info on her radio show, Williams unwittingly (or intentionally) violated Meth's wife's privacy rights. The hospital could also be held liable. The HIPAA Privacy Act was established to protect a patient's personal health information from being released to outside parties without the patient's authorized signature. Method was turned away yesterday but Williams agreed to an interview on the air today.

Comment: I do not think that it was meant to hurt anybody. How was she to know that his wife had not told her family about her sickness. I am sure that this woman di not mean to hurt this family . For God sakes she is a gossip columist and that is what she does report things that are said about celebrities. It is no different from radion talk show hosts who report what is said about a celebrity. This just goes to show you that no matter how much you think that soemthing is kept a secret it has a way of seeking out. I do agree that it was theri own personal and private business but you run the risk of someone finding out even you deepest dqrkest secrets. You cannot always trust who you confide in because they will tell everything that you say believe that. How do you all know that she did not know that her family did not know. Why in the world someone would keep something like that a secret from thaeir family is something that I will never understand. I would want my loved one to know if I had a serious illness like that. You family is there to support you. There is no way that Method Man can handle her illness by himself bercause you do get weaker and there is a physical change that you will go through and how will you explain that to your family without even letting them know that you are battling a terrible thing like cancer. I really hope that she can beat this thing because It is horrible to see someone go through the treatments and all the pain. It is nothing easy to go throug but you family is the needed support that will help you want to make it and pull through. I want Method to concentrate on his wife and ther is no need to name call or anything like that his wife is the mosst important person that he should put all his enery in. That is Wndy's job and it is who she is , we all know what her character is so let it be.

Comment: What Wendy did was totally disrespectful. If Meth didn't tell her about his wife's illness she should have used better judgement in reporting something as sensitive as that. Getting from a "source" proves how underhanded she is. Even if her intentions weren’t malicious it was callalous and she should have known better. Most celebrities do not want their family names in the news and Meth has also kept his family life private. The public doesn’t need to know every little tidbit about a celebrity’s life and family. I hope Math doesn’t get grimy but files a lawsuit against Wendy, WBLS and the hospital because his wife’s privacy was violated. But, Meth needs to watch himself and take legal action before Wendy does, because if he threatened her and then went to the radio station uninvited, Wendy could take the first step of requesting a temporary restraining order claiming she fears for her safety, thus making Meth look like a crazed rapper instead of a concerned husband.
Nevertheless, Meth is still a washed up rapper who close to zero credibility when it comes to relevance in the current hiphop landscape. He's been MIA for years and his last album was terrible. Jay needs to drop him from Def Jam asap.

Comment: I love gossip when it's light and not so serious, but there are certain things that aren't news, but personal business: who is anorexic, who has an illness, WHO IS GAY! Some people delight in putting an entertainer's whole life on blast, and that is Wendy's audience. So in a way, she was just doing her job, but it was still tacky. Wendy later told people about her miscarriages in her book, but I bet if the gossip columnists and radio deejays were blasting out each time she had one, she would have taken offence to it. Sometimes we need to think about how we would feel in the star's situation before we run out and buy the latest In Touch. That includes Wendy (who blatantly just reads tabloids on the air, in my opinion, and rarely does her own reporting).

Not saying she should make an announcement but to hide something like that... It's a lot easier to deal with such diseases when you are not trying to hide it. As far as Wendy, if I were her, I wouldn't have reported that story, but I don't care that she did, in part because I don't give a f*ck about Methodman and his wife ain't the only one to ever have cancer. And really, if Meth cares so much about his wife and her reputation why make music about banging other broads? Why cheat? I guess you don't know what you got until it could potentially be gone. AS far as the lawsuit is concerned, if he sues Wendy she is going to really put their business out on the street plus nail him for terroristic threats.

They get on a track and brag about all the women they sleep with, how they have this car, this that, I ain't no homo, I got these clothes, etc many are selling a certain image of "I'm better than you", so it's only natural that somebody like Wendy would come a long and say, ok no, this person does not have the money they say they have, they are in actuality a homosexual etc etc. It's not all celebrities...but for some of them, it makes sense to have a borderline psycho like Wendy on the air.

Comment: According to Wendy, Method Man was in the radio station lobby for 30 minutes and she sent her co-host Charlamagne down to talk to him. Charlamange said Meth didn't appreciate him saying that he was washed up, and the comments about his wife and he replied that he didn't appreciate what he said about Wendy and that what she said was true. Wendy chimed in and said that she never said on air that the wife had cancer, only that she was sick. She also said that this whole thing happened 6 months ago so if it was such a big issue, why bring it up 6 months later?

People will talk regardless, money make peole do a lot of things and I am sure you have told a few things in your days that you should not have told to someone, we all say and do things that someone is not going to approve of, we cannot make everyone happy, so get over it. . And since Wendy is a gossip reporter and they all correspond with each other, why wasn't this story picked up 6 months ago? Wendy's show broke the story about Brandy's non-marriage and that showed up in the tabloids AFTER Wendy interviewed the "husband". The thing is, Meth is getting some publicity. I haven't heard anything from him since Fox cancelled that crazy sitcom he and Redman had.

What I'm saying is, it's obvious why she exists and why she feels justified in saying what she says and why most people do not feel guilty when they listen to her and that's because of the image many celebrities put out there. And for the record, you never agree with me. LOL! chocolate10< I know WHY people want to keep stuff like that to themselves, I'm just saying people need to learn that it doesn't help your health at all, in fact, it probably hurts more than anything else. When I was in college one of my close friends got acute leukemia which, if not discovered, can kill you within 3 months. My circle of 10 girls took turns staying at the hospital with her. We used to all gather in her room like we were having a party, and she never felt embarassed that sometimes she had to leave the room to throw up, that she didn't have any hair, and that we all had to scrub up and enter through air tight doors and wear masks in order to even talk to her. She recovered thank the Lord, and has since gotten engaged, had a baby, and gotten her Masters.

Wendy put it out there six month's ago and I've heard numerous interviews w/ Method Man himself going into far more details about his wife's illness(i.e. undergoing chemo, hair loss, etc.)than Wendy did. Wendy simply reported that his wife was sick (which her family must have suspected if she lost weight, was losing her hair loss, etc.) but it is Method Man that's keeping it going. Not to mention that in each interview Method Man mentions his new album dropping in August! IMO he's violating his wife's privacy more than Wendy did! Stop using your wife's illness to promote your new album . . . sheesh, there's no limit to what some of these artists will do for publicity.

At the end of the day, she has to account for her own actions and "it's my job" ain't gonna work. If the person chooses to speak about his struggles, so be it, but it should be his choice, not some gossip columnists'. If so-and-so is gay, it wouldn't make him a better or worse rapper/actor/TV personality, so who cares? BUT LET'S NOT FORGET: The person called out by Wendy is NOT a celebrity. She is a private citizen, no matter whom she is married to. As such, she deserves the same privacy we would afford to our friends, family, and neighbors if they asked us for it. Comment: I can't stand that b.i.t.c.h. She got spies in all kinds of confidential positions calling her with gossip and she calls them her "sources." Some of these mofos need to get fired, passing on confidential information. She's got fans in hospitals, clinics, etc. who are all to happy to call her when a celebrity comes in for a personal matter and blasts it over the radio. She's not shock jock. She's just a person filled with self-hate who soothes herself by going after others. It must have been hard growing up butt ugly and doofy. Now that she's all faked up and calling it drama, she can get back and try to make people feel when she was growing up. Can't stand the b.i.t.c.h. Someone need to take her out of her misery. Fake azz tranny lookin heffa. I hate people to go after others to hurt them. One more thing, don't judge why folk keep things like cancer private. It's their choice and until you are walking in their shoes and have all the information, you can't know what it is to be them because you don't really know what they are facing. Privacy is a basic human right.

Comment: In case Wendy have not heard. She has just put herself in place for a law suit, along with the hospital, and person,are persons, who disclosed this info, on Meth's wife. HIPPA, is for real trust me when I say it is no joke. And if Meth, and his wife people did not know, there was a reason for it. Being a nurse myself, this is not strange behavior for people to do. There are stages of dealing with this disease people go through. I just pray Method's wife have a speedy recovery, and may God bless her, and keep her, and, her family.
