Comment: La Dona was good - but Sapphire is GREAT! I have been a fan of Lady T since 1980 - Wild & Peaceful. Teena's talent has been underated. She sings the greatest R&B blue eyed Soul that your ears ever want to hear. The duet with Smokey is "priceless". Go Get This CD - you won't be disappointed!

Comment: Teena Marie is undeniably the baddest white girl out there. JONI: I too like you have been a Teena fan since Wild & Peaceful (one of my favorite) and will continue to be one. I had the pleasure years ago seeing her in concert as well as one of her last performances w/Rick James. Rick could've stayed home but Teena "rocked that shyt"!!

Comment: How in 'da hell does a blue-eyed songstress STILL please my listening ears some 30 years after hearing "Square Biz'?? Damn...."Fire & Desire" is still one of the greatest, sexiest duets of our time! Gotta get this CD 'cause LaDona was off 'da chain!! How does she do it? With no effort she's set the bar for 'blue-eyed soul'.

Comment: I too have been a Lady T fan since junior high in the late 70's and the album, "It Must Be Magic" is still one of my favorites. Teena could sing circles around all of these youngsters that are out there today. The tribute song she did to Marvin Gaye, "My Dear Mr. Gaye" is still a classic.

Comment: I, too have been a fan since my brother brought home "Wild and Peaceful" in 1979 when I was in Junior High School. I still rock the "It Must be Magic" Millennium Edition CD. I tell you what; those who have not heard "Sapphire" will be amazed at the vocal ability of Teena's 14-year old (black) daughter, Alia!! They sing a duet about Hurricane Katrina and this lil’ girl can BLOW--for real. Many props to Lady Tee.

Comment: Sapphire is great, but her most complete work was Passion Play. When it comes to Teena I can't really pick a favorite, but I do love Naked to the world, shadow boxing, the air i breathe and Miracles need wings to fly. This woman is just all that and for those who don't feel her that is your choice, but one I don't understand. she is one of the greatest talents period.

Comment: Simone-sorry for the late post---my "shift" is 11pm - 7am- Teena always sounded like a white girl "rreeeeaallyy trying to be black and not doing a very good job - If she was riding on George Bush's tale and not "Slick Rick" y'all would hate her!! I'm old school too, and I have hated her voice for over 20yrs!!! Na I still say B's voice sounds like a strangled cry for a pubic hair to be set free! I guess you only need talent in you a$$.

Comment: I love music, I really love gooood music,I really love R&B and one thing you can't deny.........Teena can sang! Now for those of you who feel the need to run across the room to turn off the radio or feel her voice is equivalent to nails on chalk board...check your ears!
Sapphire is tight...I love it! It's smooth, romantic and soulful. "Ladie's Choice" is off the hook! I've been listening to LadyT since day 1 and I don't care if she's purple, green white, blue, pink or orange! Keep on singing Teena!

Comment: Oh my God, I love me some Teena, go ahead Ma and do the d*mn thing. I am going out today and buy this CD, for me to be a Teena fan I'm embarrassed to just find out about this CD. I have everything that she has ever done, even the appearence on other artist's music. I gave up listening to our black radio station (WAMO FM.)and they wouldn't bump her anyway and I haven't visited her site in a long time. But all in all, I'm still a true fan.
