At the BET Awards pre-show she said one of the performances she was most excited about seeing was Beyonce's. Any animosity she may have is probably for Matthew. They never say anything about what they are doing as individual performers. They are always talking about Beyonce and what she is doing. This is why I'm pulling so hard for Letoya. She's got a hot body and she's cute, but who doesn't in this game besides the few with true talent? Comment: Hi Thunny, it's funny you should suggest that she distinqush herself from the other cloned RnB Singers out. Reason being is that when an artist comes out trying to do so, if a label does sign them, the media doesn't support the artist, and most importantly the music buying public, which is mostly young people won't support them. Now you got Alicia that does a little better at doing her own thang than most but basically Rhianna, Ciara, Beyonce, Christina M, Ashanti, and now LeToya are all basically the same person to me but that is the only way you wil sale.
She may not make but one CD or 3 CDs in about 3 yrs to strike while the iron is hot, but isn't that what most of them are doing before the labels move on to the next 20 yrs old w/ tight abs and long weave?
All that being said, I am happy for LeToya cause if Ashanti and Ciara warranted solo record contracts, she has every right to one as well.

Comment: Alicia Keys, Jill Scott and Indie Arie have a good percentage of control on their projects. These other chics are straight studio singers and therefore, they don't have no control and they will all gimic each other and sound alike. They are lucky to have a chance at a deal so they take what they can. As far as LaToya, there will be no second album with her. She better enjoy this ride as long as she can. She can perform live either. Horrible is the word!!! Again, I will state that DC was an introduction phase for Beyonce and the other girls were going to get boot anyways, it was just a matter of timing for them all. Ole Daddy O planned the whole thing. His babygirl is sitting on top of the world. Someone said they felt sorry for Kelly and Michelle. Why???? I don't feel sorry for Kelly or Michelle. They got their millions and fame. By the way, Kelly "is" talented and can do different things but as long as she keep living in Beyonce's shadow she will get no recognition for it and Michelle is toasted. She was pretty much a back-up singer. So therefore, that is pretty much the end for all the DC girls except for Beyonce.

Beyonce should be a better singer than Letoya right now. I think LeToya will do just fine. I am glad for the girl and she is doing her own thing. She seems real down to earth and her voice will get better. Let's not act like Beyonce just came out blowing, she has gotten ALOT better over the years. OK---Latoya sounds better B...? Ten times better someone said! Latoya's song is hot? Latoya can sing? Latoya's voice will get better with time? All these comments are hilarious to me. For one, Latoya can't compare to be on any level! Latoya's song is whack! The voice we hear today is the voice we'll hear 10 years from now...it ain't gettin' no better! Like she stated, everyone knew their role and if theu were smart they would have played their's and got paid. I congratulate Kelly & Michelle for being smart enough to collect their paychecks, fame and all the rewards & awards they've received by being associated with B and the Knowles clan. Sounds like smart business practices to me! I wholeheartedly believe that Daddy Knowles knew his baby girl was the star and when you really think of the groups name, its called "Destiny's Child" not children...there was always meant to be ONE star and her Destiny is continuously being fulfilled! There is no comparison to the level B is on with the 5 ex-DC members! The true star of the group is still standing. Bottom Line!

I could not imagine the balls it took for her to even come out on her own with Beyonces success so I give her props on that alone. And NO, the girl can not sing better than Bey, not many of the artists out can really, I give Bey that! But in 7 years, she should show some improvement just like Beyonce did. I just don't like the comparisons. They are each thier own person and do things differently. LeToya would look crazy as all get out doing Deja Vu and with Beyonces usual stuff, I don't know if she could have pulled off Torn, its more R&B than pop. So good luck to each of them. Comment: Latoya has some bangers that do sound different than whats out there now... She had like 2 or 3 singles that they were bumping on the radio here in Houston. When they came out with that Torn song I was like, "what the he11 is this mess"... It did what it was supposed to. Her track "All Eyes on me" is jammin'. Don't know if it will make the album... might be too regional a sound for the main stream.
