Comment: I hope he gets a percentage of the profits from the marketing of his catalog. 2.7 doesn't seem like nearly enough for his work. I hope it all turns out I like MCHammer and in spite of the slide from grace have much respect for this brother - one of the few that carried youngin's on his payroll just to keep them off the streets . . . hard act to follow.

Comment: DCGG, did you wait up on the wrong side of the bed? Anyway, I actually feel bad for Hammer. Alot of stuff rappers are doing now Hammer was clowned for... and he doesn't get the recognition he deserves... hopefully VH1 would honor him very soon.

Comment: I have always like Hammer very much. So he was dumb nad lost most of his money but God isn't through with him yet and I look forward to his new CD and hope he comes back on top. I can remember being stuck watching TV when he performed with his Dance Crew. Loved it.

Comment: Hammer got caught up just like New Edition. You can't help everyone in need. Maybe by him selling his music catalog it will relieve some of his money troubles. I do plan to purchase his new CD.

Comment: I wish MC Hammer well. I saw him on TBN, the christian channel not too long ago. He can still do other things in his life if he wants to. I think he's talented, and can come back in another realm if he wants to. That catalog also has to pay the original artist of those songs that were sampled, so, I don't think he will receive a large percentage of the profits.

Comment: I don't know if he could get paid for it, but maybe he should go on the show "Dancing With the Stars" to at least get some of his glory back. You have to admit he could dance his tail off. Or be a judge on "So You Think You Can Dance?" Hey, a paycheck is a paycheck!

Hammer isn't broke. I know he isn't pulling in the millions like he did back in the day, but is living better than the average cat.

Comment: TesticAl, I know Hammer isn't broke... Iremember him saying that on Oprah right after he initally filed bankruptcy. That's when I started really respecting him... he was like we may not live up on the hill but we aren't in the valley. I have nothing but respect for him.
