A stripper from New Jersey faced criminal charges Wednesday after police found a severed hand and six human skulls in her home.
Linda Kay, 31, was due to be arraigned Wednesday for improper disposition of human remains. Police said she was arrested Friday.
Officers responded to a report of a man wanting to kill himself with a hammer, but instead discovered a hand inside a jar filled with formaldehyde on a dresser in a bedroom. Six human skulls were found in an upstairs bedroom, South Plainfield Police Capt. Paul Brembt said.
"The Middlesex County medical examiner responded to the scene and determined that the hand and all the skulls were from humans," Brembt said.
Brembt said Kay, who works for Hott 22, a juice bar with topless waitresses in Union, N.J., refused to tell authorities where she got the body parts.
Two people who knew Kay told The Star-Ledger newspaper of Newark that the hand, which Kay nicknamed "Freddy," was given to her by a medical student who frequented Hott 22.

Comment: Woman Charged In Break-Ins, Accused Of Taking Kids Along
ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A mother of four has been charged in two Rock Hill break-ins, and investigators said she forced her children to help her.
Police said the 38-year-old Karen Meyer could be linked to more break-ins. They said they are now trying to understand why Meyer would wake up her children, ages 13, 11, 9 and 7, in the middle of the night to commit crimes.
Cherry Park doesn't seem to have much of value, just a storage closet full of empty coolers and gauze pads. The park's supervisor, Bill Berry, said he was puzzled by what was taken from the park office.
"All we had stolen was five to six packs of Gatorade, three boxes of gauze, and shoulder pads and helmets for a pee wee football team," he said.
But, Det. Tim Ayers of the Rock Hill Police Department said, the crime is upsetting for another reason.
"The disturbing part is the fact that (Meyer) was taking her four children with her," he said.
Police said Meyer got her children out of bed at 2 or 3 a.m. to break into places and steal worthless items. Ayers said the kids saw it as an adventure.
"While they were out and about in the middle of the night, if they saw a place, they would stop and see if there was an unlocked door," he said.
Meyer and her children are also suspected of breaking into Northwestern High School over the July 4th holiday and stealing two office chairs and four fire extinguishers.
Neighbors told police that Meyer was encouraging their children to do vandalism in the neighborhood.
She was finally arrested, police said, after her own children started telling friends what they were doing.
"I think they were tired of being involved in that type of activity," Ayers said.
Police have only charged Meyer with two counts of breaking and entering, but they believe she's connected to four more break-ins at Rawlinson and Sullivan middle schools in Rock Hill, officers said. Her children have not been charged.

Erotic social networking site hopes to have 1 million users by end of 2006.
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) -- The operators of an X-rated online video game Wednesday debuted Utherverse.com, an adults-only site that aims to duplicate the success of wildly popular teen hangout MySpace.com.
Owners of the new site, who recently launched RedLightCenter.com, expect to have more than 1 million registered users by the end of 2006 and encourage members to upload erotic photos and to complete fantasy profiles.
Brian Shuster, chief executive of Utherverse.com Inc., said people under the age of 18 are banned from using the new social networking site - a move that should help the upstart online community avoid MySpace.com's No. 1 pitfall: pedophiles.
Teenagers, young adults and some full-fledged adults have flocked to News Corp.'s MySpace property to socialize, share interests and find dates.
But the site has also been fertile ground for some sexual predators, who have attracted the attention of parents and U.S. law enforcement following multiple reports of sexual %*$aults to minors.
Shuster said Utherverse.com uses credit-card age verification and has people monitoring the site, scouring it for postings from minors to ensure safety.
"Our users can feel safe and relaxed in the knowledge that they are dealing with other adults," he said.

Comment: lilmocc, IF it's a goal to do "it" in public, my suggestion would be to go to a park, one with various walking trails that is usually empty during the day or evening and do it. Don't do it in a high traffic area not unless you like living on the edge or looking for a rush. In that case make sure you have some bail money handy.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has changed his political uniform from red to blue and is talking again about running for governor of Alabama, possibly in 2010.
"Alabama, that's my home. I'm thinking about running for governor; they need the help," Barkley said.
His decision was received warmly by Joe Turnham, Alabama's Democratic Party chairman, but with skepticism by a political observer.
"I say welcome Charles Barkley. Charles Barkley has been a Horatio Alger story for many people, not only in sports but in business and broadcasting," Turnham said Wednesday.
Turnham said he plans to contact Barkley and invite him to some events the party has coming up.
Jim Seroka, a political science professor at Auburn University, said the former Auburn basketball star is getting ahead of himself by talking about possibly running without first building a base of support or looking at finances.
"He doesn't have any of the bases necessary to run a statewide campaign," Seroka said Wednesday.
Barkley, a Leeds native, has been talking about running for governor of his home state since he was playing with the NBA's Phoenix Suns. In 1995, he said he was considering running in 1998 as a Republican but that never materialized.
After that, Barkley continued to identify himself as a Republican until recently, when he switched to the Democratic team.
"I was a Republican until they lost their minds," he said earlier this month at a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada.
"Sir Charles" reinforced that Tuesday while speaking to a convention of public school board members in Destin, Fla.
"What I've said is I'm rich like a Republican. But I'm not one," Barkley said in remarks reported by The Birmingham News.
Barkley said his immediate goal is to get his 17-year-old daughter through high school and into college. Then he plans to decide on his future, including whether to run for governor of his home state.
"I really believe I was put on Earth to do more than play basketball and stockpile money," Barkley said. "I really want to help people improve their lives, and what's left is for me to decide how best to do that."

Siegelman noted that Barkley has the personal wealth to stage a strong campaign. "He's definitely going to be taken seriously," Siegelman said.
Twinkle Andress Cavanaugh, chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, said Barkley was never involved with the state party when he identified himself as a Republican, and she has no idea whether he's serious when talking about a future race for governor as a Democrat.
"To be governor requires more than a publicity stunt. It requires real leadership," she said.
In Barkley's remarks in Destin, he was not complimentary of Alabama's past leadership.
"If it wasn't for Arkansas and Mississippi, we'd be dead last in everything. I think we can do better," he said.
Barkley told the school board members that poor children don't have a level playing field with wealthier students, because the poor children have to cope with more problems like crime, drugs and teen pregnancy. But he also admonished some black parents and their children.
"There are too many black kids and their parents who do not value a good education," he said. "There are places where a black kid who is a good student and tries to speak correctly, you hear stuff like, 'He's trying to be white.' Well, I say, if that's true, we need more kids trying to be white."

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Criminal charges against a New York hip-hop disc jockey -- fired for racist and sexually threatening comments about a rival's wife and daughter -- will be dropped, the District Attorney's office said on Thursday.
The case against Troi Torain, who goes by the name DJ Star, will be dropped in six months if he does three days community service and stays away from the four-year-old victim of his comments, said New York District Attorney spokeswoman Barbara Thompson.
Torain, 42, was fired by Clear Channel Radio's Power 105.1 station in May for what Clear Channel said were "wholly unacceptable" comments. He was arrested by detectives from the Hate Crimes Unit two days later.
Torain made anti-Asian comments about Gia Casey, the wife of a rival disc jockey at another radio station, Raashaun Casey, known as DJ Envy, and made comments that implied a threat of sexual abuse against the couple's child.
At the time Benjamin Brafman, Torain's lawyer, said his client had apologized for the comments, but said they were the culmination of a long-running verbal battle that had "spiraled out of control."

I think Vera Wang saved her because she said the top and skirt were well constructed (but who would wear that mess). She won't last...the clock is ticking..tick, tock. The girl who was voted off her dress was simple but more believable, in the real world. Also, I don't believe Keith should have gotten a pass even if the dress was nice because he did not complete the assignment (he did nothing for the dog)..period! He works my nerves because he knows everything and thinks he is better than everyone else...If you are bad like THAT why are you on the show! Michael has talent but they are not showing much of him yet...I thought his dress/dogfit was cute. And,I liked how Ms. Architect stood up for him re: the sewing machines...she said I'm looking out for MY MAN! (Her fits were nice too...her designs always convey MONEY!) The FBI said Wednesday tests by the Atlanta Fire Department determined the unknown powder feared toxic and contained in an envelope mailed to the Atlanta office of the NAACP Tuesday turned out to be boric acid, a relatively mild chemical used in laundry detergent and ant poison.
Stephen Emmett, special agent for the Atlanta office of the FBI, which continues to investigate, said the envelope, mailed to the Atlanta NAACP office on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, had a return address of Baton Rouge, La.
Envelopes containing white powder also were received last week at NAACP branches in New York and Baltimore. FBI spokesman Phil Man said Tuesday the chemical in those envelopes “were not biological or chemical agents and not a danger to the public.”

Tenacious, 2 girls had money, one had $600 the other had about 4 if not 5 hundred. Neither of these girls parents paid a dime for the house nor van. Didn't want to contribute $35 for food for the house. The one girl who hadn't paid a dime, got upset about the $35 and called her mom, her mom called the coach angry that her daughter had to contribute for food. I told them if they made it to Nationals next year I would not under NO circumstances stay in a house with the team, I don't care if they got the house for free, I would stay in a hotel. The coach wouldn't even give the girls a curfew. It was a MESS!!!! And I haven't even touched on half the mess that went on down there.

Already beset by rumours of a pre-game alliance between Jase and Diane (Mr. And Mrs. Smith), the 'Big Brother' series is now faced with another more devious union which was leaked on the 24/7 live feeds last night.
In a private conversation between James Rhine, the current Head of Household, and Will Kirby, the winner of Big Brother 2, it was revealed that James, Will, Danielle Reyes and Mike 'Boogie' Matlin had formulated a pre-game alliance before stepping into the 'Big Brother' house.
During their conversation in the HOH room away from the prying eyes of the Jedi Council (Howie, Janelle and Kaysar), James and Will spoke about their pre-season telephone conversation and if Will was actually seriously playing the game or not.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (Reuters) -- The 18-year-old French woman was hospitalized with scaly skin on her legs and hands, appearing unsteady and mentally sluggish, doctors said.
They found the condition puzzling, especially since the woman's twin sister displayed similar, but less severe, symptoms and there was no family history of the problem, the doctors reported in this week's New England Journal of Medicine that
Several days later, doctors discovered the cause: a bag of mothballs stashed in her hospital room.
The teenagers had been using the mothballs to get high, inhaling air from the bag for about 10 minutes a day because classmates had recommended it. The sicker of the young women also had been chewing half a mothball a day for two months.
The doctors described the high as "dangerous" and most likely under-reported in medical literature.
The teenager told the doctors that she continued to use the mothballs during her hospitalization "because she thought her symptoms were not related to her habit," said Lionel Feuillet at the Hospital of Timone in Marseille, France.
Mothballs, used to prevent moth larva from getting into clothing, contain paradichlorobenzene, a substance also found in air fresheners and insect repellents that can cause liver and kidney failure, and severe anemia.

Comment: Tenacious, I didn't sleep good, one, because those heffas didn't want me to sleep in a bed, I was suppose to share with the female coach, but I never did. I ended up sharing a twin with my 7 yr. old son. Second, the coach bought beer and wine coolers and left them in the frig. Then, he would wake up early in the morning to smoke the trees. Heck no I didn't enjoy myself. The transmission in my van went out, so I wasn't able to leave like I had a mind to do. If van wasn't in the shop while I was there, oh I was going to show my natural behind. God knew that, that's why everything happens for a reason. How about the coach knew he didn't have gas money for the van and didn't tell the driver until they had to stop at a gas station. Tenacious they didn't even have directions to the house! Thank goodness I took the same route down to Florida so I was able to tell them how to get to the house. He didn't even have the darn schedule for the games, just so happen a week before we left I printed out the schedules and gave it to both coaches and the female coach remember to bring hers to FL.

Comment: Tenacious what ended up happening was the female coach flew back home, the other two parents left early which left the coach with the van and his wife's car. The look on his face was priceless when he woke up to them leaving the house, packing up their truck early in the morning. He was sure that the other parent would drive the van back, thus having to pay for the gas. They dropped me and my kids off in St. Petersburg early Monday morning, I checked into a hotel and stayed there until my van was fixed, I left St. Petersburg last Weds. So, I was in Florida for 3 weeks. I left St. Pete and drove 9 hours to my father's house and visited with them until last Saturday night. And they wanted me to stay an extra week with them.
