Comment: For me it's not that he doesn't want to date black women (even though that's bad enough) it's the fact that he verbalized it - if you're truly into whatever you're into you don't owe any explanations or clarifications about your choices. But in that the brother argues with his fists he ain't a great loss to black women.

Comment: yes, he did date Halle, according to a Daily News article I read about 2 years ago, Christopher Williams, he was the one who made her partially deaf in one ear (everyone though Chris did it). Wesley has never deined that statement. (which was reported in either the Lowdown / Rush & Malloy gossip section, I forget which one).

Comment: Hey I feel yawl on some of what you've said about not dating Black women and what not. But answer me this question: How come the average Black woman almost like looses their minds when they relate about a Black man dating or marrying a White woman, but the same Black women will cheer and react with unabashed glee when a White dude is monster balling a Black woman? This is one of those questions that rarely get answered by sisters. I mean sometimes the hypocricy of some sisters and the fact that most refuse to even acknowledge it is unbelievable and dumbfounding.

Comment: I'm all for black men dating whomever they want to. I'm a beautiful black woman and I don't get upset with the sight of black men with white women. I don't view that as a rejection of me or my kind. In most instances, it is just personal preference. Now, that preference may be based on the belief that they are somehow "better." I doubt that.
I've noticed that more black women are dating white men. Same thing. Largely preference. To tell the truth, some are quite handsome and it is not all about the money as some suggest. The only thing that I object to is dating outside of your race and saying that you only date a certain type of person based on their race, not the individual's qualities.
At the end of the day, I take care of my business and let everyone else handle theirs.

When a sistah breaks down and gets a white boyfriend it's usually because AIN'T NO BROTHERS CHECKIN' FOR HER and haven't been for a while. You've had this question answered before - you just didn't like the answer given. For most black women dating white men it's a last resort. As for the youngins doin' it - their parents didn't teach them any better. As for those that do it by choice - let's just say more brothers are doin' the damn thang.

Comment: I'm sorry I missed something....the article was about a talent agency suing Wesley and we have turned it to his preference in women??? If I remember the story correctly, it wasn't that Wesley was opposed to dating black women, but as he, Dennis Rodman and a few ugly black brothers in the entertainment industry stated....."SISTAS, DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH THEM AND DOGGED THEM.....THAT WAS UNTIL THEY STARTED BRINGING IN THE CHEDDAR" (these are of course my words and not Wesley's) Why does it matter? At the end of the day he is still a black man, regardless of who his wife, girlfriend or love interest is.....Angie Stone said it best "Black Brotha, I love ya" As a sista that has dated across the racial divide......It doesn't matter....give the brotha a break....let's be more supportive of the black man and not so swift to tear him down.....GREAT BLACKNESS BROUGHT FROM THE GENESIS...

Also, I think the article that got sisters riled up was in Ebony some years ago. Wesley's comments were perceived as dissing black women.

Comment: Used to LOVE me some Wesley Snipes, and thought he was FINE !!! However, since he has no love for his Sistas and has gone Soy, i haven't been feeling him at all. As for the monster balling, it's not something i would do. I used to get mad when i saw a (half) Brotha with a Heidi, but then i realized that Heidi was doing me a favor. I wouldn't want a man who doesn't love himself enough to love his own, so Heidi just weeded him out of the garden for me.

Comment: Regarding your question Train; before he made it big as an actor a black woman did marry him. They married right out of college and she's the mother of his oldest son. And by the way, how many non-black women do you think were interested in him before he became a successful actor? Believe it or not, there are plenty of sisters out there who are just looking for a guy who's smart, funny, and kind. We're not all looking for a meal ticket. Women like that do exist, but you'll find them in all colors my friend. So why single black women out?
