Comment: Trust advice chick on this one. This is not an overnight decision, unfortunately you have not been given the time to prepare -- he did. Maybe if you think back perhaps the one thing you did not try (or perhaps you did) was being yourself. You should have to work at building love but it should not be difficult. There is so much you did not say. Give yourself time and more importantly give him space. While you are hurting, and it might not have been handled in the best way -- think about how you would want to be treated if you were the one doing the dumping.

He was gone before he told her and because of her need to keep a man she was wearing her rose tinted glasses. Relationships only become complicated when we overthink, pay attention to what you see and hear - it pays to allow your intuition to guide you.

Comment: Wow, this woman is so desperate. I hope she read AC’s comment as well as the comments on this feedback. The only thing I can say is I hope she steps back, stop concentrating on trying to keep the guy and start loving herself. If she doesn’t love herself how can she expect someone else to love her? No one should make a person feel so despondent or helpless. If a person doesn’t want to be in a relationship there is nothing a person can do to make the other stay.

Comment: Men will do whatever it takes to get and keep whatever they WANT! and you cannot change a man or MAKE him want or stay with you. If you find yourself fighting for him to want you or to stay with you, you are fighting a loosing battle, mainly fighting yourself. Let go and let God! When he sees that you are over him and doing better, he will want you back. Some men go after other things and get them, then find out that they should have stayed. Too bad.
