Comment: Actually, Jamie's right that Diddy would make a good "Black" Bond.... The franchise isn't successful because of the acting, it's the gadgets, the villians, and the Bond girls. Don't know if America is ready for it, though....

Comment: Personally, I would love James Bond to be an international man of mystery (or is that Austin Powers). Anyway, a black Bond would be great but just not an American -- I can't see an American being swave enough to pull it off the role -- it's more than attitiude most Bond men had a quiet sexiness about them -- and although I love my Harlem men -- Puff sexiness is too overt and prefabicated.

Diddy, yea ok fine but if you real and serious on this Black (side note: yawl need to start CAPITALIZING Black, on the real) Bond thing a brother who could pull this off major is Dennis Haysbert! Brother from "21" who played the president. Now he would be an older "Bond" but nevertheless, would absolutely smoke the role. And if you want a younger version, look to Morris Chestnut! But if they were serious about this, I'd prefer the character is not named Bond. Just like when folks say "Black Jesus", instead of how they should refer to Jesus, as Jesus. We all know he was Black.

Comment: I don't know why black people always want to co-opt someone else's stuff. Bond is WHITE. What's wrong with letting the dang character stay white? Man...Black Kingpin in DareDevil...Black Pete Ross on Smallville, Beyonce' black azz tried to be Lois Lane in Superman, Ving Rhames as Kojak. WHY? Why can't we get our own cool characters? Surely some black people are creative enough to come up with something for US? Let white people have their sh*t, already.

J-Lo definitely don't need to appear in any more bombs and they need to not redo Dallas until they can get someone like Ed Harris to play JR and other serious actors for the other roles ... heyell Bobby on the Bold & the Beautiful let him come back and play that role *snicker*

Comment: Well then I guess I'll have to CFTUPPPP!!!! too, because I agree with Stank. We need to create our own characters period and stop trying to makeover White characters. And Jamie should keep his mouth shut, since he was too ugly to play Phillip Michael Thomas's role in Miami Vice anyway.
