Anyone going to see them now is just nosy about their lives. This is like Terry McMillan and her body boy - sensationalism. The interesting thing about this is that his message is that any man could be DL. That being said, how can this pair legitimately give you warning signs when the DL guy in question is doing everything in his power to hide his activities? A DL man's whole life is based on deception - he even deceives himself into believing he's not gay. So how can you think you can prevent this? Just a thought...

Comment: DCGG, This one time I really have to agree with you and EdnaMae. They basically took this DL thing and got paid. Anyone with common sense can figure out whether or not your spouse is on the DL. We all knew Terry McMillan's boy toy was gay. When I saw him on Oprah, I knew he wasn't doing anything but trying to get paid. I bought the book and gave it away after I read how he just wanted her to accept his lifestyle. She should have let her brothers beat his azz. He's a sick, selfish bastard and she's just as sick.

Comment: I was amazed to learn just how many women are married to men they know are "out there" -- yet they stay. Both wind up having affairs and it just baffles me how little disregard they have for the people who ae pulled into this web of deceit. The World Tour, through the church? this is sounding like, we need to make some more money. Comment: Folks like D.L.King and E.Lynn Harris brought the whole down low thing to the forefront and sparked a lot of conversation and awareness. I'll give them credit for that. But I agree this was a one book deal. Everything after that was all for personal gain. The wife writing a book all frivilous. I guess now his pastor will write a book. How about his momma? Maybe even his doctor and so on. But I do agree his ex is one heck of a woman b/c if it were me I would have wrote a book on how to hunt down, hog tie and castrate my down low man lol.

Comment: I have to agree with the board on this one. I met J.L King at a HIV forum in San Francisco. He was on a panel with some of the top AIDS educators and activist in the country. He toned is rhetoric down considerably. JL is just an opportunist selling hysteria. This "book" will not provide any insight but exploitation. At least E. Lyne Harris can write a decent story.
