Comment: If she can stay "clean and sober", that'll be good enough for me -- a new album will be icing on the cake. It's sad that Whitney's golden voice was damaged by years of drug use and alcohol abuse. Hopefully with a lot of work, she can find that special something inside of her that bring it back (maybe not to its original richness, but close). I'm told the road to recovery is a hard path to walk. Let's hope Whitney can stay there.

Comment: I just read "Lady Sings the Blues" by Billie Holiday and she stated that when she was clean her voice was at it's best. All of these years Whitney has been using drugs and she still sounded great. Can you imagine what she'll sound like clean and sober? Comment: I dont think having a good voice is in Whitney's future. It doesnt have anything to do with drugs. Its in her genes. Cissy Houstons voice was as good or even better than Whitneys. Now she has a very low and raspy voice. That is Whitney's future. If fans can get past the lower octaves and shorter notes- and really listen to her soul, then they will be pleased.

Comment: I think Clive was hoping for a comeback around the time of the BET awards. I remember seeing a commericial for the awards with a preview of Whitney singing, she sounded bad. I mean really bad. When the awards finally aired, Whitney's singing had been completely cut out.
