Comment: Priceless, King is a nice album, but it is not a classic. Not getting on you, but people use that term too loosely when it comes to music.

Comment: Price< I thought you didn't like it! Or...was it Urban Legend you didn't like? One of them I had to beg you to listen to again. TesticAL< How is the term "classic" used too often in music? I rarely ever hear anyone say that anymore, most people these days are mad b/c most albums only have 3 good songs on them. Anyhow, for me, all of T.I.'s albums are excellent. you can listen to all of them all the way through without skipping. His topics are diverse, he rides the beat like nobody's business, and he deserves to win big. so, even if King wasn't a classic, he deserves to win something for his body of work.

Comment: Mothership, I could not agree with you more. I can tell by your name, that you know good music and this is NOT it. That is a sorry bunch of nominees and I am sure that the performances will be just as sorry. It's a pity what popular music has become.

Comment: Moombeams, I grew up when everybody didn't sound the same. We used to look forward to the awards to see if the just deserved get rewarded. Popular music became that way because people settled for bullshyt and brought it. I, for one, ain't buying.

Comment: Co sign Mother - on both posts. I read this line up earlier and had no desire to post cause I couldn't think of anything positive to say about the rerun of awards. The same people, not a wide variety and the music is mediocre at best. Remember when performers had their own bands - live music - now everything is canned, borrowed and mixed to damned death. Lord please bring back the real musicians!! I'm still not understanding that my humps jazz by fergie it's as stupid as the milkshake song.

Comment: I concur with you Mothership and Moombeams. I've always believed that quantity is not quality. It's like what one of the most prolific poets of the 20th century said: LIKE A DULL KNIFE, JUST AIN'T CUTTIN. TALKIN LOUD AND SAYING NUTTIN. They spend too much money packaging these artists and the quality of popular music today overall sucks. There are a few exceptions, however, but they ain't on this list!
