Comment: The Moments/Ray,Goodman& Brown used to rehearse in the basement studio located at 106 Palisade Avenue, Englewood, New Jersey. That was the Platinum studio of Mickey Robinson and Sylvia Vanderpool. The group consisted of Harry Ray, Al Goodman and WILLIAM Brown. Harry Ray of Long Branch, NJ died in 1991. Eban Brown must have come along later because he was just a toddler in 1975. Mickey & Sylvia were NOTORIOUS from scamming folks! Don't believe it, ask the Moments, Linda Jones (Hypnotized 1967) and the Sugar Hill Gang. They have a bad name around Bergen County, North Jersey. Mothership, you know about this too.

Comment: >Mothership: One cold, wintery day in 1975 in Englewood, NJ, Me and the late, great Harry Ray were helping a young lady who had her car stuck in the snow. He was dressed in his Apollo best and I was kinda clean too. We told the lady to SLOWLY hit the accelerator and let us push. The lady floored the accelerator and covered me and Harry with snow and mud. She took off, never looked back nor said thanks. The same weekend, I went with my wife to her friends house party in Hackensack, NJ and guess who answered the door. I hope and pray Harry is resting in peace in HEAVEN and laughing his head off about what happened to these two, handsome, dapper brothers/good Samaritans. LOL!! Rest in peace, HARRY!!!
