Comment: Yea I agree, Seveteen magazine seems kind of cheesy for a modeling contract...maybe it was because they moved to the CW and they couldn't afford the prizes as before.

Comment: There isn't one girl on the this year that has that "it" factor. Too me they all look alike. And yeah, I was tired of the use of the "B" word by Tyra and that J-man/woman. And probably Seventeen was the only publication that would give the girls a contract. Truthfully, there are only two top models I think is good enough for Vogue and that's Eva and the girl who won the first year (who's marrying that Brady guy)

Comment: I think this season, wil be the season of pasty! These white chicks are pasty and some even look to skinny. Those twins are probably going to win, they looked the worse out of the bunch. But, I guess that is what sells int he modeling world. I thought the latino girl had the it factor, but she was not chosen. I did see a couple girls I like though. They added the seventeen spread along withe the normal prizes. They didn't take anything away. I guess that is just an extra benefit.

Comment: I agree with you Taz. I really did not want to get into this show, but it was like a car wreck, I couldn't stop watching. LeAngela was one of the girls I rooted for. But my other faves made it through.

Comment: Why not Vogue and Elle? Vogue and Elle have been around a long time, they don't need to be attached to a American television show on a small network. Harsh? Yes, but probably true.

Comment: I was actually looking forward to the new season of NTM but since I was home yesterday, I noticed a Season Two Project Runway Marathon was on and I'd never seen that season and by the time ANTM came on, they were down to the last two shows so I was flipping back and forth and TM was not doing a good job of keeping me interested. Something about those girls seems bootleg and like they'd all decided what "character" they were going to play ahead of time.

Comment: I need a life but until I get one this will do...I was psyched about the show last night. I thought there was a BETTER casting call this time around except EVERYONE is basically a teenager. This time there is a little more variety in the people chosen even though there was NO plus size person---they could tell your too fat & cast off right away... Tyra's MOUTH? What about her waistline? I think she is letting it gettity up and go. How is she someone to admire when she looks like someone's Mama and she has chick nor child? I guess she's keepin' it real...but soon SHE could easily become the object of criticism. I hope they do NOT exploit this group because I felt at times last season they were grasping straws TRYING to make things more exciting when they got rid of the antagonistic personalities too early on for good reason. Looking forward to something NEW and actually see people transform in a positive way.

Comment: ATLGIRL>you know, you are probally right about that observation. that is why they got Seventeen instead. it's cheaper. all the legeneds hit Vogue and Elle. and they probally didn't want to have anything to do with this show. and another thing, when i think of Seventeen magazine, i think of perky wyt chicks. which maybe i have a hunch they might pick a wyt chick this year. but i like that indian gurl. she is strikenly pretty.

Comment: Is it me or does Tyra seem to be out to destroy Naomi's character. First she does a show (it was the season premiere) with Naomi's former %*$.stant (she is suing Naomi) bashing Naomi. Then on the season premiere of ANTM she has one of the models throwing a cell at someone. Tyra is official a Naomi hater and I hope this sneaky shi% comes back to bit her in the %*$.

Comment: As for the show, ANTM, why again is the black girl the crazy one. Granted she is crazy, but I am sure they could have found a white girl to play the crazy role on the show. And skin on these girls’ faces is horrible. Their faces look like Americas Next Toxic Mess.

Comment: My bestfriend just asked about Nik last night. Tyra had only half the girls from Cycle 6 featured on her talk show Wednesday morning. I'm exciting about the new season, but I hope Monique goes home ASAP. She's so shady...she poured water (said it was pee) in another girl's bed to keep her from sleeping in it.

Comment: Seventeen mag is bigtime for the young crowd. I think Tyra wants to go younger in hopes that she'll actually get a winner who actually wants to be a model rather than just a cheesy reality-show entertainer. Project Runway is in reruns next week, too. So everyone should find it easy to watch ANTM. I'm hooked on the show. (And I hate Tyra, but I can't turn away.)

Comment: UrbanRoom, Naomi made Tyra's life a living hell when she first got into the biz; that's public knowledge. At first Tyra never said Naomi's name, but it soon leaked out, being that Naomi and Tyra were the two youngest models of color that were hot at the time. It seemed that she had reconciled with Naomi when she had her on her show last season. Naomi probably talked about Tyra like a dog after the show, who knows. And as for Tyra gaining weight, people seem to forget that TV can add 10-15 pounds to your frame. She's probably gone from a size 6 to a size 8-10. at 5'11", that's HUGE!(snicker)
