Comment: I sure hope they find something to help blacks quit smoking, the facts are in that smoking plays more havoc on a black person than any other race for some reason. I for one don't care if you smoke, but, have enough sense to realize, the health factors are agaisnt you, and plus its a huge waste of money. Now, that the companies have said to have put mroe nicotine in brands that blacks smoke, that speaks volumes, QUIT.

Comment: The reason smoking affects blacks are two-fold: 1)menthol-brand products, the most toxic form of cigarettes, are predominately marketed to blacks (e.g. Kools) and 2) the content of nicotine in cigarettes is higher in brands used by blacks than whites- thus creating higher dependence
