Comment: WTF!!! Why is EURWEB so intent on publicizing Pat Boone and his 'new' R & B project?? I Boone secretly sliding yaw chicken under the table? I REPEAT my comments a few days ago, for the sake of the young, hip-hoppers, I'm old skool. In the 1950's, many Black stars like Little Richard, the Moonglows, Lloyd Price, Big MaMa Thornton couldn't get their music played on 'mainstream/white' radio because they were Black. Pat Boone, Georgia Gibbs et al. seized the opportunity and would wait until Black stars would record and hit and go right behing their backs and RE-RECORD the same song and it would be played on white radio. Many of the above named stars LOST a lot of money because of PAT BOONE!! So my question is WHY IN THE HELl does EUR see fit to publicize this person who did so much harm to Black folks. Where are yaw coming from???!!

Comment: Hey Yaw, here is a few of the hits that Pat Boone stole for the sake of any music historians out there. "Ain't That a Shame?" by Fats Domino, "Lover Letters" by Kitty Lester, "Tutti Fruiti" by LIttle Richard and many more. Pat Boone will NEVER be inducted into R&B hall of fame in Cleveland, because many Old Skool folks remember how cleverly he played his race card to the detriment of Black stars.

Comment: Thanks for the history lesson. I was annoyed to read this as well. Pat Boone is just doing what he has always done -- capitalize on other people's talent and hard work. It's cardial knowledge that artists like Pat Boone and Elvis Presley POPulaized Black songs for mainstream radio. In the words of P.E. 'he was a racist simply and plain...'

Lee Bailey, owner of EURWEB.COM was at the party and probably has some money invested in Pat Boone's sorry-azzed music project. On one hand, Bailey is cultiviating Black discussion in the Black public's eye, but behind closed doors he is making deals with the devil. He's the kinda piece that would lift his skirt to the first passing sailor if the price was right. So sad how we stand on a soap box during the day and hold secret meetings with BELZEBUB/MEPHISTOPHOLES at night!! Shame on you Lee Bailey!!
