Comment: You cannot convince me that the owners didn't know there would be a negative backlash over the name. Personally, I don't like the name and would not purchase the drink, but if they wanted free advertising...they got it! I heard about this drink last week or the week before and it isn't even sold here in Philly yet.

How do you explain to a younger child the difference between this and the real thing that they are being warned against?! You can and shouldn't have to. LA and New York need to do whatever it takes to shut this shat down, we already have enough negative images in our communities without trying to be 'funny'.

Comment: The fact that this is is geared towards kids is phuccing silly. Kids should not need any additional energy. They go to school, do after school activities, do homework and go to bed. What is the world coming to. We tell our kids they are to hyper (ADD)and give them pills to calm them down and then we give them caffeine laden drinks. We didn't have this shyt when I was growing up. Kids need to take they @zz to sleep between 9-10pm and get at 6am which gives them 8 hours of sleep, no need for caffeine. I have 2 teenage boys, they are on the honor roll, active in sports and have friends in the neighborhood. They don't drink soda or this energy crap they are too young to have this stuff in their system, soon enough they will be old enough to make decisions to add these damaging products to their bodies. As adults we know we get headaches when we come off these "caffeine highs" imagine what it does to your childs body. When does it stop?

Comment: I remember when I was a kid you could buy these candy cigarettes, which the outside package looked exactly like real cigarettes. The candy of course was a chalk like mint. But I remember when my friends and I purchased some. My mother made me take IT along with my Now n Laters & candy necklace back to the store! She quickly explained the problem with my candy cigarettes.

Comment: This is so sad! This is just as bad as Damon Wayans trying to trademark the word "%*$!(" for this clothing line. Thank God is was declined but he tried again. Don't knw the out come of that one but shoudl be the same. Also why do have to call on NAACP and churches??? It should just be people in general. Not all Churches are not supportive of all. Usual in denail of their own issues.

Comment: This is a hot mess but it's not necessarily a black problem. It's a societal problem that will affect/confuse all children and I hope ALL of society will collectively not buy this product so it will go away. I don't have kids but I say this, if anyone on here has kids and they bring that drink home and you don't whup they azzes WITH the can the drink comes in, YOU are part of the problem. And if you are allowing your little girls to dress like hookers, YOU are part of the problem. And if your son is sporting baggy jeans w/his drawers showing and that "Stop Snitchin'!" shirt, and $200 shoes yet getting straight "F's" YOU are part of the problem...it's called PARENTAL CONTROL and if you don't exercise it over your children and they turn out jacked up, it's YOUR fault...

Comment: Nelly and Damon Wayans are just two of many celebs who are nothing but some tired sell-outs. They don't care anything about our children or the Black community. They're just out to make a buck. And what's sad is that so many of us fall for their tired game time and time again!! And, as usual it's the parents who have to deal with the fallout from all this mess! I thought Nelly's plans to sell his pimp juice had been axed. Guess I stand corrected. My challenge to adults, parents, and posters on this site is to STOP using profanity. It is NOT NECESSARY to use profanity to make a statement or get a point across. It's no wonder so many of our young people have the filthest mouths!!! They get it from parents and adults FIRST because we were here first!
