Comment: When you find the answer, please share. That is THE best picture I've ever seen of her - originally she was cute but in her quest to be the black pam anderson, she fukked up. I do wonder though if she's planning to change her 'lil kim' persona on stage and in her lyrics, otherwise she needs to leave kids to the grown folks.

Comment: yeah right! You put your own self in those positions, because of YOUR choice...stop being so fast in the azz..... and another thing...when you talk to those kids, talk about the importance of following the law, and speaking the truth is not a just a Right but a RESPONSIBILITY.....dumb trick...some people just don't have a clue

Comment: She already had a nose job for the photo shown. Her nose was nothing like that when she FIRST came out.

Comment: Give Kim a chance. This story has nothing to do with her nose or her look so stop hating. I am sure she still looks better than you.

Comment: That might be the smartest thing she's ever said. I hope she does let go of that stupid skanky image so that she can really be a great role model for the children: how to turn a negative into a positive and start making good choices.

Comment: Really sad it took a stint in the pen to make her see the light. I would hope she has learned a valuable lesson from this and try to instill in others the importance of telling the truth, yet, honoring your friend(s) and not being a rat. Sometimes your word is BOND!

Comment: I was listening to the Russ Par show the other day and Knowledge said that
Lil Kim looks like a siamese cat. I thought about that and had to laugh.

Comment: Hey everyone,
It's a shame that a topic like this didn't get more posts, but oh well. She tries to do better (whether you agree or not), and it's get far less attention then when she shows up somewhere half-naked and sloppy.
Anyway, I'm glad she's at least bringing attention to the issue. I'm working on compiling an anthology of first-count positive foster care stories, so if anyone is interested in hearing more, hit me up at: ajoyachieved@yahoo.com and I'll send you more information.

Comment: EbonyChild with the work that this child still has yet to do on her inner self the right number responded to this story that should have waited a year or two so we could actually see her growth. One prison stint does not a role model make and especially in light of the fact that she didn't live a very exemplary life before that. Kim Jones needs to go through the necessary steps to build some real self esteem and walk in that light for a while all whilst undertaking character building experiences. Then and only then . . . . right now a role model she is not and lending her name to the foster care system could be as big a set back to them as her plastic surgery was to her.

Comment: McNasty I agree that Lil Kim needs to do some more work on herself (internally not externally), but maybe this is the first step. Honestly, I don't see how she can tarnish the image of foster care any more than the media already has. At least she's trying to do something positive. It may just be a publicity stunt, but if it brings attention to a system that is largely ignored until something bad happens, then I have to at least try and support her efforts in spite of what I think of her.
With that said, you know if she'd done something scandalous, there would have been over 100 posts, mostly to bring her down further. We do seem to have a problem with lifting each other up from time to time.
