Comment: That's great news! I'm just glad to hear that she's getting better and can't wait to hear that voice again. Just what Whitney needs: people in her corner with her best interests at heart so that she can be what she was created to be. For that matter, we all need that, don't we? Her fans need to keep praying for her, though. It ain't over till it's over and addiction is a daily and lifetime struggle. I pray for the best for her and her family and those of us who are anxiously awaiting her return.

Comment: I'll remain positive to think Whitney is ready to get herself together at least for the sake of her only child. Whitney is far too great a blessed singer to lose her incredible gift permanently. The real problem is her addiction to Bobby Brown. I sincerely hope that my vision of clearly seeing Whitney making a strong comeback, then falling back into the arms of Bobby is just a mirage. Whitney, please don't make the money, then feel the need to go back to bad habits with who should be a permanent EX in your life.

Comment: Whatever happened to entertainers utilizing real MUSICIANS in the studio? This track shyt is very annoying and then they try to palm it off on you (the tracks)during a live show.

Comment: I feel you, Mothership-- I too miss the live orchestrations of yesteryear. But I listened to a few of the tracks done my Primo on the Christina Aguilera CD and some of them are pretty hot!

Comment: I heard that Whit and Bobby are still 2gether, she pulled that "seperation" story to get an album out, then her and Bobby are going to get back together.

Comment: I wish Whitney and her family the best!
I have seen Whitney bring the house down live and on television and I never gave up on her. Just like Mariah had a strong comeback, I believe Clive will do the same for Whitney! Just look at the man's track record. She is a very gifted singer who made some public personal mistakes but I know that God will bring her thru if she believes and trust in him!
God Bless you Whitney!

Comment: If Whitney goes back to Bobby Brown after he's been laying up with the diseased town whore, she deserves whatever happens to her. Going back to get an album out? Watch it tank if she does so.

Comment: I have to believe that Whitney is ready for a clean and successful comeback and gingerg I agree - too much nasty water under the bridge for her to try to reconcile with her tasteless and broke husband, besides - he shows no signs of doing right or reviving his career or even just getting a job!

Comment: Mothership it seems that everybody is turning to canned beats and I do miss that time and continue to be hopeful that one of them will realize it's better with live music. These younguns take too many shortcuts.

Comment: MOTHERSHIP: It seems like the old world we know with artists using actual musicians in the studio has gone the way of penny candy. That was some sight to see back in the day. Aretha Franklin, for example, in the studio singing and being accompanied in the studio by a real live orchestra. SMH . . . Looking back on when I, was a little nappy headed boy . . . Come on! Sing with me <<lol>>

Comment: FINALLY, A PERSON WHO CAN "SANG" not just SING. Most of the female artist today can NOT SANG, but sing. Mirah Carey did it, and she can SANG, NOW IT'S WHITNEY'S TURN. MIRAH AND WHITNEY
together on a CD would be nice. TWO SANGERS.

Comment: Realuv, I can't even understand it. I know I'd want my set to be the height of quality. Seems one would want to strive for longevity in their careers and not shortchange themselves or their fans. McNasty, I try not to patronize an artist if they're all about the canned. I may as well go to a karioke bar if that's the case!

Comment: Whitney can truly sing. Clive has an amazing track record an I'm sure she will deliver the goods. Wishing her the very best and that she has truly kick Brother Bobby to the curb and not let that fool's power of persuasion stop her from reaching her goals and making a triumphant return to the music world? Can't wait for the album to drop and be stellar in sales!

Comment: While it's nice and all to see Whitney coming out with a new album - I'd personally prefer if she focused on her health and staying clean...she's been cracked out for years and it's not possible to just stop in such a short period of time...it takes years...

Comment: I luv Whitney and I have hated on Bobby for a long time (and justifiably so). But I hope Whitney's recovery is more important than a damn album. She has already made so much great music, so many classic ballads and smooth r&b,pop-tinged songs, she is an American icon. It'd be nice if some of you remembered that.

Comment: I HAVE TO BE REAL ABOUT WHITNEY SO CALLED COMEBACK, I AM NOT FEELING IT! WHITNEY HAD 14 YEARS TO DO WHAT SHE NEEDED TO DO (LEAVE BOBBY) BUT WHY NOW???? I HOPE IT WAS THE DRUGS THAT HAD HER ACTING LIKE A RUDE A$$ ON BEING BOBBY BROWN, BECAUSE SHE SHOWED A SIDE OF HER THAT WAS NOT PLEASANT AT ALL........

Comment: >Whitney & Clive: Please be judicious with the 'collabos' too. I'm not really trying to buy her album if it's littered with cameos by Nelly, Slim Thug, etc. Leave that for the 20 year-olds - the REAL 20 year olds, not Janet. How's her cd doing anyway?

Comment: HoneyMack: I said that about a month ago!! That's the ONLY reason that girl is headed back into the studio--she outta money!! She HAD to show that she was somewhat serious by filing the papers because people weren't feelin' her WITH Bobby. It gives everyone the impression that she's tryin' to get it together so that everyone will feel supportive and buy her music again. I ain't quite playin' that game yet. I usually wait in line EARLY for her CDs. I think I'll hold off on this one for a minute.

Comment: HoneyMack > Whit didn't need that story about leaving Bobby to give her press. I'm not sure, were you've been but good or bad press has followed her since she married Brown. Jlove> It was known that the ONLY way BROWN received a show was if he could get Whitney to a peer on so many episodes. She NEVER wanted a show, which is why it's called "BEING BOBBY BROWN" instead of "THE BROWN'S"... get it???!! Mothership> It was mentioned when using beat machines was because of money. Musicians wanted to much money, considering most were part of award winning bands. Like you, I also appreciate live music, it makes me smile. I just recently replaced my Soundtrack CD "Love Jones" which has a lot of great bands on it.
