Comment: I'm totally not feeling "crackspace.com" as appose to enticing young adults to join under that assumed name. The name gives off a negative vibe!!!!! Why not Urbanspace.com or urbanmusicspace.com, mymusicspace.com or something of a sort. And why only Rap & Hip Hop? There are other genres in music that African American's are into. That's my 2 cents worth.

Comment: This title is not only disgusting but desensitizes the bigger issue of the abuses of crack in many inner city communities.
I agree with BeenThere2 that Urbanspace.com would be much appropriate name.
A name like crackspace.com sets us 20 steps back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: Did this dude actually think a name like that would be a big hit? Oh well, what would one expect from the creator of that fine cinematic effort, Soul Plane. He is a fool. And I would urge everyone to do anything they can to put a stop to this so it doesn't see the light of day. Especially the artists who would find their product on his site. This is a way to use your power. This nonsense has got to stop!

Comment: This is just another venue to exploit and foster ignorance. Because its the net they will probably have the most vulgar, just this side of porn playing everyday. I thought we took a step up when BET got rid of their late nite madness.
Will we ever stop degrading ourselves.

Comment: I really doubt that dude was trying to make any hint toward crack cocaine. On the other hand, look at how much power black folks have given one word, "crack." We're running around screaming the sky is falling because of a button that gets pushed, and that's all it is. We-us-WE!...always give too much power to negativity. What if dude meant, for example, 'I'm cracking a hole in the flash memory/cyber-community world,' or, 'I'm cracking the door open for us.' Sure, there are probably millions of black YouTube and MySpace users, I mean, I'm one. Got me a nice entertainment thang going, sort of like becoming a combo comedian/social commentator/male Maya Angelou spoken word performer at YouTube.com/user/michaelollieclayton
Enough about me, though! As for Crackspace.com, I say wait and see, rather than react and overreach. No matter what the intent was, I am praying that the site won't be nowhere nearly as commercialized as some of the stuff that's out there now. I won't call no names, but it is absolutely disgusting to be so thoroughly pimped the way we are whenever I go to one of OUR sites. Other sites advertise, yes, but our shyt is over the top.
