Comment: I remember this e-mail all too well..because it made me think...because a brotha stopped and took the time to express his feelings, his anxieties, his hopes and his dreams for himself, for "us", for his community, and for his country... because it also showed this particular brotha's growth... as a man, as an activist, and as a human being. I have no doubt that Kevin Powell will find himself "in the mix" (again) on a national level and this e-mail will, many years from now be referred to as both his "tipping point" and his "blueprint"... If you do not change -- you will not grow! And this is a brotha who has done both!
