I think she realized that she wanted her life and career back, and that if she continued on the path that she was on, she was headed for a "certain death" and would not be back. I understand your point - guess I just miss the Whitney I was knew and heard, and wish her a speedy and healthy recovery; as well as Bobby, who I believe is just as talented, and has a great command of the stage; this guy knows how to rock a crowd and even some of the most seasoned profesionals don't know how to move an audience like Bobby Brown - but, he has too many things in his life "out of order."

I truly realize that each entertainer has his or her fans but I also see the really vicious comments made when someone doesn't like a particular person and it goes further than the 'Gee, I don't like her music, movie etc role' I was just wondering what the criteria was to get love since there are certain entertainers who seemingly have done nothing to earn the really wild comments they get. With Whitney it is usually total sympathy, Bobby did it to her, poor Whitney etc. According to a lot of people Janet is a liar, too naked, too old and she's crazy etc, LisaRaye is a ghetto, ignorant, a hoe and golddigger, Beyonce should never be on another magazine, she can't sing or dance and a liar, Mariah is too Diva and she's crazy etc in other words those comments go beyond I don't like her as an entertainer. Whitney is a great singer but her life has been just as hectic as the other entertainers I mentioned and we've actually seen her straight clown and act 'ghetto' on T.V. but none the less she is still wonderful Whitney no one makes a comment at all. Like the expression say ' I ain't hatin' I'm just sayin'.

I believe that people are often more sensitive to someone that is fighting an addiction like drugs or alcohol versus a Diva like Mariah (I like her as well and I have her latest CD) that goes on tour making crazy demands. Comment: Whitney, is a survivor, in every sense of the word. She is from a long line of surviving women. Starting with her mother. Whitney, has always been a class act. As a person, off the stage, away from the lights, and all. Whitney, is truly the girl, next door, she has a beautiful personality. I had the pleasure, of meeting her in "Hawaii" 13 yrs ago. And when, I called her name in the airport, as we were on way, to the same place. It was like an old school buddy. Whitney, has the love of her fans, just like Mr. James Brown, does, everyone does not have like that. Whitney, is special, in a lot of ways. we never know which way we may end up, if we are not careful, and stay focused. No one is above, the pressures of the world. I believe "Martin Lawrence", said this at one time him self. No One, even YOU! Remember"GODS GOT A BLESSING WITH YOUR NAME ON IT". So, don't hate, just congradulate, and be happy for Whitney. It could have gone another way. But thanks to God, he saved her, through her faith, and many prayers.
