Comment: Well it's about time, I was wondering what happened to Maxwell. He's one of the few talented singers today that I enjoy listening to.

Name: StormyMonday
Comment: Good! I can't wait to hear his new single and also the album itself. Welcome Back Maxwell!!!

Name: Teigh
Comment: Maxwell needs to go back and get Leon Ware, who was responsible for creating the sound from his first album. the songs Maxwell did with Leon Ware were the hits, and Leon has worked with the greats -- Minnie Riperton & Marvin Gaye. Leon's musical arrangements are killer -- that's his music sampled on Tribe's "Check The Rhyme".

Comment: This sounds like a triple whammy! I love Maxwell.

Name: Mimi
Comment: I love him too, but I did quiot his arse when I saw him with a 25/20

Comment: Teigh, i concurr, Leon Ware is a wonderful arranger...Maxwell, might be wise to contact Ray Chew as well or Nat Adderly Jr., of Luther fame....a combination of these three might send him to Marvin Gaye status....he certainly has the talent! Kudos! Can't wait to hear what he has....

Comment: I don't care what he sings. I'll buy it. Maxwell is one of my favorite artists and he has true talent.

Comment: What is a 25/20?

Name: MOTHERSHIP
Comment: Now, that's what I'm talkin' about!

Name: Babygurl
Comment: I was wondering where Max went...I thought he wasn't going to comeback. Music is better when an artist takes his/her time...can't wait for Whitney's comeback too.

Name: Southernbelle
Comment: Great news!!!I can't wait for this cd to drop.

Name: 4mybabygirl
Comment: I can not wait! It is as good as brought!! Love ya!

Comment: Like the rest of you, I am very excited and looking forward to Maxwell's release. He puts the SEX in SEXY! And in person, he gives a wonderful show. Excellent vocals, stage presentation, and just so pleasing to the eyes and forces you to stretch the imagination!

Comment: Good for Maxwell, who has always been the smoothest of the neo-soul singers (Erykah is the wackiest, Jill Scott the most overrated, and D'Angelo is the craziest).

Name: MER82
Comment: Go Maxwell, get busy--its been a long time, bout time brotha.

Name: Emaxwell2
Comment: Great!!!!! I look forward to hearing that great music and singing and performing that Maxwell does soooooooooooooooooooooooo well EMaxwell

Comment: I started to say something mean, but there is just no need for all that negativity. I'm just not a Maxwwwwzzzz...oops, I started nodding off just thinking about it...fan. But, good for those of you who are Maxwell fans. There is nothing better than hearing a favorite artist after so many years.

Comment: lol @ dcdouglass01 - I still like to hear Erykah sing despite the wackyness - especially her live c.d. - I love D'Angelo's version of Smokey's "Cruisin" - it is tight!!! I hope Maxwell's new c.d. is good. I miss hearing him on the radio.

Comment: ShayLady> I feel what you were going to say...and i will say this. Maxwell can sing, but the success of his projects (releases) has really been tied to who produced the project. Leon Ware's (and Stuart Matthewman who is Sade's musical director) contribution was the Urban Hang Suite which was the best album of the lot.

Name: ladybyrd
Comment: I can't wait... I love his sultry sound.

Name: MzTee
Comment: I was wondering what happened to Maxwell. And, I agree with Teigh -- Urban Hang Suite is the best of Maxwell's efforts. I wore that CD out. Every joint on there was banging. I hope his new effort will be just as good if NOT better than Urban Hang Suite.

Name: asize12
Comment: Urban Hang Suite is a classic, period.

Name: Deb70
Comment: I agree. Urban Hang Suite is a classic. That CD was/is pure excellence. I've loved me some Maxwell since '96 and I never thought for a minute he wasn't coming back. I'd love to know what he's been doing to make a living these last 5 years though; living off album sales I guess? I know I loved all that hair he used to rock, though. I don't know if I'm feeling the close hair cut. He's still foine though.

Comment: Is this a dream? Whitney, Michael,D'angelo,Maxwell all with projects in the works. "Swoons and faints" Someone will have to revive me with smelling salts.

Name: VickiE
Comment: I hate most urban music. The songs have no lyrics worth listening to and the rap/hip-hop junk is about somebody tryin' to steal someone's man. It's not worth listening to. Maxwell, however, had a wonder first album, a so-so 2nd and 3rd but still had enough talent to keep me interested. I love this guy's voice. Very talented.

Name: KayaNow
Comment: He must be gay.

Name: Dusty007
Comment: Finally!! I've been waiting on Maxwell, D'Angelo, and Sade (think I can stop waiting on her). But while I've been waiting I've had Kem to help me out!
