Comment: What I love about Maya Rudolph is that she has carved her own path in entertainment. Most of her famous SNL skits are of her singing, and I bet if she really took it seriously she probably has a voice similar to that of her mom, Minnie Ripperton -- who left us way to soon. She just seems grounded -- just like her mom was.

Comment: NOT A SURPRISE AT ALL. REMEMBER THE GIRLS ON MAKING THE BAND 2 LIVED THERE ALSO WHILE FILMING MAKING THE BAND. THERE WAS AN EPSOIDE INWHICH THE GIRLS WAS RUNNING FROM A MICE. ANYBODY PAYING THE MONEY THEY ARE ASKING FOR RENT, THE PLACE SHOULD BE PEST FREE ALL AROUND, AND EVERYTHING SHOULD BE WORKING PROPERLY. THEY PROBABLY NEED TO TEAR IT THE BUILDING DOWN AND BUILD ANOTHER ONE.

Comment: Is "bed bugs" the new name for crabs? I mean when I was growing up I only heard about bed bugs in a nursery rhyme. "Sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite". But if you actually had little parasites jumping around biting you it was called crabs. Never the less, this is no place for a kid or a grown up for that matter. Move on sister.

Comment: No Bed Bugs are real and making a very real comeback thanks to the old US of A letting any and everyone into this mutha and all of the traveling out of the country most of us do these days....there was a Dateline show or one of them-describing how on cruise ships, in College Dorms, expensive hotels, apartments, etc. they are creeping their way from the nursery rhymes, back into existence. A friend of mine recently had her own horrific experience with them in her apartment in D.C.

Comment: Crabs are a sexually transmitted critter. Where do you think the "bed bugs" term came from to use in a nursery rhyme? Art imitates life....bed bugs are real, my aunt dealt with the nightmare for months in her apartment, and it's sad when you're not a celeb and can't just pack up and go. It's almost impossible to get rid of them, but when they are there, you know it...so these folks should pay! I did not know she was Minnie Ripperton's daughter. I loved her!

Comment: MER, you got that right. Not including the damned diseases they're harborin' and bringing up in this piece with 'em!

Comment: bed bugs are a pain but they can be gotten rid of. let me tell you.....i walked into my daughters room one evening, not too long after we had moved into our new home, and clicked on the light to tell her something. her blanket looked like she had lint and crayon marks on it. so i asked her about and once her eyes adjusted, she started brushing her cover real fast. thinking it was odd, i reached over to move the lint and it wasnt lint it was crushed bed bug cause they leave these red marks when you smush them. so i said 'what da hell is this' to my daughter and she explained that they had bed bugs over her dads house. they go over there pretty much every weekend so i was outdone. straight to the net i went and found out that they are hard to get rid of, but i was like 'there aint gonna be no damn bedbugs in my new house' come to find out that the suckers hide and lay eggs in clothing, in the bed, around the bed, carpet - its horrible. solution: i got all superhero with my ish. went to the pest control supply and got dusting spray, the strongest pest spray, a sprayer. also got plastic zip mattress covers and eucalyptus oil (that kills em dead). Took all the clothes out of the kid rooms and put them outside in the cold (it was winter).. stripped to my undies (so none would stick to me), armed my self with da supplies and did one room at time. killed every bb i saw, dusted the mattresses with the dust sprayed e'rething including the carpets and lastly sprayed the mattresses with eucalyptus oil front and back and put on the zipped covers. then i sent it all over to their dads house (along with a not so nice request as i was mad as hell cuz that rat bastard knew he had a pest problem) needless to say i havent seen a bed bug since :)
