Comment: True, Tyra is very business savvy and has been in the modeling business for a long time. But, Tyra is also competition. Not only does she still continue to model but she may also serve as manager to the other girls that win. Maybe Eva didn't feel like she could grow under Tyra's wings and decided to seek management where she would be the central focus. Never the less, she's made her choice and I hope for her sake it was a good one.

Comment: Not much Train - which is why they try to jump ship into some other gig as quickly as they become famous, cause historically, they have always been "branded" as only beautiful, but brainless. Cindy Crawford, though, dropped out to have kids the last few years, was unsuccessful at launching a movie career. I think Lauren Hutton, from the 70's, early 80's did well in movies. Beverly Johnson also tried it in the early 80's.

Comment: Sorry, but Tyra has been all through the extremely harsh world of modeling. They don't mind telling you that you look like a "pig" simply because you're not the right "type" when in fact you may be gorgeous. A model's life is extremely short, and if I were Ms. Pigford I'd get on my knees and thank Tyra (and a few others) that: a Black woman CAN be beautiful; that she doesn't have to be 18, and that she can have a very successful life after modeling ends. Find out how racist modeling really is Ms. Pigford, because it really is. It isn't about how beautiful you are, because most of it is out of your hands. But Tyra can navigate that world with the best of them. I predict a short shelf life for you. And yes, I would have canned that last name as soon as I was 16.

Comment: Black women are beautiful and we don't need a t.v. show to tell us that. I do like how Tyra Banks have parlayed her modeling gig into building an empire which is great. I think the young sistahs out there should look at that and realize the economic gains from realizing your full potential. Hell, I was raised by a beautiful black woman who instilled in me (along with my Pop) an appreciation for my Sistahs and I wake up every morning next to a beauitful black woman everyday...thank the Lord!!!!
