Comment: This should be a very interesting look. I like this set that Cathy Hughes does. Patti's been my girl from way back. Met her dad too before he passed and she was doing "Soldier's Story" after they made it into a movie. Genuine sista for real.

Comment: I met Patti in May of 2001 at a Women's Health Care briefing on Capitol Hill and had the photographer take a few pictures of us together. The whole time she was asking me questions about myself while I was trying to question her - helluva genuine sister but this interview won't tell me anything I've not already discovered for myself. Patti has a tv show on tvone and constantly tells anecdotes about herself - interview is overkill.

Comment: Yeah, McNasty, true that. But I guess Cathy figured she had to give Patti her props too. I loved the shows she did on Quincy, Debbie Allen (Jasmine Guy didn't age well at all) and Usher and Smokey Robinson. It was real cool and they get to speak about things not normally kicked upon.

Comment: I love Patti's show on TVOne - "Living It Up" with Pattie LaBelle. When I moved to the Philly area, I started watching her show. It's very informative. I've learned a lot about Philly - museums, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. She seems very down to earth. I've always loved her music and now I love her even more!

Comment: Mothership out of respect for 'Whitley' I never said she looked like madame (the puppet) but you're right as rain - not yet 50 and her white blood is telling on her. I do like the Hughes interviews but this one on Patti - we'll see but no doubt it's strictly for entertainment cause Ms. Patti is a talker and she's been telling her story for a very long time. GTann I was in Philly a few weeks ago and because of Ms. Patti I knew just where to go to eat, shop and just look around.
