Comment: Joy Bryant (born 19 October 1976) is an American actress and former fashion model for Tommy Hilfiger. Bryant was born in in The Bronx, New York, USA; her mother was 15 years old at the time. Bryant attended, but did not graduate from, Yale University and studies acting in NY and LA. I am proud to hear their commentary on the film and it's impact on them. Bravo to these two. I have always had respect for Joy because she is a fighter and she knows how to reinvent herself. Now I can say I have some more respect for Mr. Nick Cannon. The new generation is taking care of business.

Comment: Its good to see these young actors in serious roles. It doesn't hurt to have people like Harry Belafonte, Larry Fishburne and Anthony Hopkins dropping knowledge on you. I really like Nick Cannon and am a huge fan of his show Wildin Out.

Comment: I'm looking forward to Laurence Fishbourne's performance. He is amazing. It was so good to see him recognized at the recent Black Movie Awards.

Comment: It's great to see Nick Cannon in a more serious role. I feel this film will do well. Hollywood is going to look at him in a different way as they did J.Foxx.

Comment: I'd like to see how Nick and 'em handle these roles. Bobby Kennedy was no joke and the reason he was %*$assinated was because he went after the mob. They had to kill JFK first (in cahoots with the U.S. Government) because they knew they would have a madman in White House if his brother was attacked.

Comment: this movie will do well because white people will support movies of substance and that's why they always get movies of this caliber.....it looks as though it will be a good movie and i plan to go see it.

Comment: well, i truly wish Nick the best of luck on this one. because he is among legends in acting and polictics. Harry Belafonte and Anthony Hopkins. this will truly help him in the growth and development in his acting ability. do the thing, young man! do the thing!

Comment: SNICKER>Yep. you are right. the wheat folks will come out in droves for this one.CARIBEEANQ>interesting you brought up Tommy Hilfigure. you know he was a big financial contributer for the King Memorial becoming built?

Comment: The 60's were no joke evidently, look at the individuals who were just straight up killed. King, JFK, RFK, Medgar Evers, etc. So much bloodshed and all for what, oil and money. Sounds familiar.

Comment: OldSchoolBrother, for real. Folk actually stood up and raised hell. When they killed Bobby though, I was thoroughly disgusted with this country. Bobby was going to throw it down too, he knew even if it meant his life. He was still grieving over JFK too. You could tell it in his demeanor and sometimes in his face. Those two were kickazz tight. He also wanted to fulfill his brother's legacy. I still say America will never be and never was the same after JFK's %*$assination. We lost something we could never reclaim.

Comment: I saw a documentary on Bobby Kennedy's life once. It noted that he was evolving and had a real sensitivity to the plight of the disenfranchised and poor. His death marked a turning point for this country and we've been going downhill ever since.

Name: MOTHERSHIP
Comment: GingerG, you are exactly right. He'd move mountains for the poor and disenfranchised. Told them crackas to let Dr. King out of that Montgomery, Alabama jail for face his National Guards. They had to let King go.

Comment: OSB I guess we didn't pay attention to the history cause damned if we're not repeating it right now with the bushits and their bushat! I'm tired of warmed over stories from the 60s but this movie not only tells the story from a different perspective - it actually includes black folks (who were in the hotel at the time). It's a must see movie!

Name: McNasty
Comment: Mothership but for the fact that Old Man Kennedy sold his soul to the devil, the Kennedys would have been poor and disenfranchised - I guess he realized 'there but for the Grace of God'.

Name: MOTHERSHIP
Comment: McNasty, yeah, they knew. Came over here shirtless from the famine in Ireland in the 1800's. That's one of the reasons why they killed JFK too. The Mafia in Chitown helped back JFK for the presidency (through ol' Joe) and Bobby went right after the mafia after JFK got elected. They couldn't get Bobby because JFK would have went off. So they hit JFK first (with the aid of the US gov't) ain't no way in the world you can't tell me different. Hoover didn't like JFK or Negroes either. But Sam Giancana got it the same way he ordered the JFK's %*$asination, in the back of the head in his house. What goes around, comes around.
