Comment: The IRS can focus on whomever they want to. Pay your taxes and you won't have to worry about it. I'd rather them focus on the rich then somebody down the street making 1000% less then these rich ungrateful m'fers do.

He doesn't have to be present to have someone work this out for him but if he is being charged with fraud he will have to surrender to the Feds.

Comment: People!!! This isn't a celebrity %*$!. This is about us and the government. For as far as I know this isn't one of those celebrity gossip case for you all to nibble on. How much do you really know about where exactly all the income taxes we pay go to and who IRS really is. Have you all already forgotten the Catrina? How many of you actually have read the law and translated the USC in a legal term to find out all the common words in the Code reguire different legal definitions? About HALF of the American don't file income tax because they have deligently STUDIED the rules and regulations. In a well educated comunity where people read and study the law and codes to reserve their own constitutional right(because most of time government dosen't), Mr. Wesley Snipes is a hero for his intensive study and courage to stand up for his right. He is known to be a serious scholar over the years who's been studying the law with top professors around the country and the one who has a real guts to ask some questions people are afraid to ask and for gov. afraid answer. As little as I know him personally, I could already tell this isn't about money. He didn't need to go through this kind of mass if it weren't for his determination and will to stand up for justice. I'm pretty sure that he knows what he's doing and he's totally doing it for a spritual reason. It doesn't make any sense otherwise, considering his celebrity status and career. If he had spent more time on maintaining his celebrity status with a nice PR, you all wouldn't have been talking about like %*$!. though... I feel sorry for him on that note, but a deep respect from me. All the best to my man, Mr. Wesley Snipes!!! We all hope this case stands out to be the real educational and inspirational case for us all when the real deal is revealed. Knowledge is Power, educate yourselves! Comment: My husband and I are in the process of being audited by the IRS. We have a home business and they said we did not claim enough. They even measured our basement (where the business is) to make sure we were able to write off as much as we did. Its the most stressful experience ever, but we hired a nice (Jewish) tax attorney that says that once the IRS gives us the final number, he will appeal for a lower amount. He said that the government can't get everybody so they LOVE when high profile folks get busted because it makes the average man do the right thing. They WANT the public to know because they will realize that anyone can get in trouble so don't play with the MAN

Comment: Ayana I feel sorry for you my dear that you don't have time or knowlege to file your own taxes so that you have to hire an expensive accountant to file it for you. And what your accountant told you is partially true. They want the public to be TREATENED, STRESSED, and ENSLAVED... because most of us still cannot get over the slavary whether you are black or white. And most of us are sooo intimidated to even look up the words on the BOOKS but feel so comfortable living as slaves. I ain't living like that. Nobody enslaves me but God, Doctor Smooth! While you live under the fear of Federal time, I live in the light of God and freedom with no worry and stress because I do my studies diligently to protect myself from those needless stresses you would be going through by not KNOWING your own duty and right. Nobody is stopping you to pay your income taxes if you wanna, none of us gets benefit from it anyway (in case you "THOUGHT" the income tax you pay goes to pay for the public services). If you don't want to stand up for the truth have no courage to fight for it, then shush! WE DO NOT want to hand over the slavery to our next generation to come. Whether Mr. Snipes ends up in jail(almost impossible!) or not, we KNOW the TRUTH don't change. ~PEACE~

Comment: BTW, Ayana, years ago I was audited because I had what they claimed to be "not enough" taken out for taxes. I had 2 jobs in one year that payed me huge sign-on bonuses. After the audit, I was owed more money than my original return claimed. I then decided to become a certified tax preparer. I don't do this as a living I only wanted the knowledge. I actually volunteer to help low-income people complete their taxes.

You have put all of those CODES and RULES in your head comopletely brainwashed yourself with it RULES are and why and how they were made up by WHOM!!!! You are just another goat in a half of slaves who can't get over slavery. And that's exactly what they want from us! Congratualtion! You'd be a fool to recommend your brothers and sisters to become a slave like yourself who only memorize the rules but not STUDY them. Just be aware what you're really doing with your incomplete study habbit. That's all. No offense. Oh, sure Fed time is not pleasant when you only have incomplete knowledge.
