Comment: I like what Will and Jada do (except for iRobot, that was garbage). I think that they are trying to put positive shows our there for people. I give them kudos for that.

Comment: I think All of Us is terrible. I only watch it sometimes when I am lazy. It comes on between Everybody Hates Chris and Girlfriends and I usually use that half hour break to hit the treadmill.

Comment: Hmm, of course ABC will pick up the comedy of the upper class black man married to the middle class Jewish woman, while the CW picks up the show about a bunch of divorced black women living in an apartment complex. Hmm, just keep all the blacks on one channel why don't cha! Personally, i think the one w/ all the sistas will be funnier, wait doesn't that sound like Girlfriends w/kids?

Comment: I'm tired of comedies. I'm checking for the new ABC show "Lincoln Heights." I saw the clip on BAW and it looks pretty good.

Comment: Robijoa-I almost spilled my coffee at your comment. That would be an interesting show. What would it be called? Ms and Ms Smith?

Comment: I like what they are doing, however, I'm not a fan. "All of Us" should have been cancelled last season & I'm not intersted in seeing Will's new movie "The Pursuit of Happyness". In fact the only Will Smith movie I enjoyed was "Enemy of the State". Just my opinion.

Comment: Rayne, you are wrong about the Pursuit of Happyness. It is the story of a black man who rose from poverty and lives quite well in Chicago right now.
I think this is something that we should see and encourage our children to see.

Comment: Guy, you just plain wrong. But let's just say you have a point there. Would you go along to maintain that extravagant lifestyle?

Comment: Let me answer my own question. Call me shallow if you will, but if I didn't have to sleep with you, you could do whatever you wanted to do.
You could also have your own wing of the house (including a private bedroom). We could make social appearances and remain married in every other sense of the word.
That may sound wild, but you know people do it.

Comment: I would bet the CW continued all of Us to maintain a relationship with Will Smith. He is a very bankable entertainer and the reality is one hand washes the other. I've heard all sorts of allegations regarding Jada and Damon Wayans ex wife and her lifestyle blah blah blah. I've also read and seen what appears to be a solid marriage two young people with a family, raising very strong kids (the little girl appears to be very grounded) and rockin hollywood. Whatever their marriage is at least Will & jada are smart enough to do what works for them and they have managed to be married for 9 years and counting.

Comment: Perhaps it is the rest of us who have got it twisted when it comes to what
a marriage should be. Obviously, everything is not black and white. There is a such thing as gray.
As long as two people are working within agreed to boundaries and are healthy/happy/wealthy, I say go on chile.

Comment: Teigh, it was actually Chris Rock who saved All of Us from getting the hatchet. When they picked up Everybody Hates Chris, they also made a deal to keep All of Us as well so that his brother could keep his job. Half & Half was originally going to be picked up, but was cut to keep AOU.

Comment: I watched "All of Us" over the Thanksgiving holiday for the first time. My house guests were watching it and so I had to go with the flow. We dissed this show throughout the entire 30 minutes. This show is SO amateurish!!!! It would be great if it had been written 35 years ago. Then it could have competed with "All In The Family" and "Sanford and Son". All shows that worked at that time because that's all there was. This brings nothing new to the table. "Amos and Andy" was more sophisticated.

I disagree with you totally this show could NOT compete with All in the family or Sanford in Son. Those shows were funny. And there were plenty of good sitcoms then.

Comment: Wow, I totally disagree with your takes on AOU. I think the show is a take on a new style of family, "blended," which is probably more common than some think, esp with the rate of divorce in society. I think it's cool, because it shows that through divorce, the child/children remain the most important thing. I don't know about their new show, I don't like the premise for either one of them. But, "gwaaaan" Will and Jada. They are keeping the Black Flame alive in tv production and in film. Love seeing a young, black, talented couple, in LOVE, MARRIED WITH KIDS AND DOING THE DAMN THING!!!
