Comment: This heifer didn't even realize that she could have killed someone. Her weight was reported as 100 on her license, but she wanted to make sure that they got it right - 85. He11, my eight year old neice weighs nearly that much (and needs to be on a serious exercise and proper nutrition program, but that ain't got nothing to do with this).
Any way, Nicole is miserable, wants to BE a white girl and will probably overdose next year.

Comment: The crazy thing about all this is that Nicole kind of helped Lionel re-gain some of his popularity, because his azz was fading into the background before she popped up and became famous for doing nothing. Well, actually she became famous because she's Lionel's daughter and hung out with Paris. She has done nothing worthwhile since she's been in the spotlight. She shops and goes to parties. That's all I've ever read about. I watched "The Simple Life" when it first aired and was amazed at how trifling Nicole is. She just lies on the regular and seems to have no morals at all. I was really embarrased for Lionel and Brenda because it was evident she was given no home training whatsoever. She's spoiled shatless. Really, she has no business being famous because she's does nothing. 85 pounds? What is that? I remember the first season of The Simple Life that girl had much meat on her. She was actually a tad juicy. That Latin blood. Now she's trying to be like those dumb YT girls, who don't truly accept her anyway.

Here, we have some obvious lack of home training and common sense. The mother didn't want her so her father took her on tour and was unable to care for her properly, so lionel offered to adopt her because his wife could not have children and they wanted children. Comment: If Nicole wanted help, she could get it. She could have stayed in the luxury rehab center that she checked herself out of to go shopping. Girlfriend is too afraid that she is going to miss the next hot party to realize that her life is in jeopardy.
And her trifling BFF (Best Friends Forever) will continue talking about her long after she bites the dust at an early age. It doesn't have to be this way. Look at Mary J. Blige. She was strung out, too, but she had sense enough to eat. She's cleaned up her life and is continuing to enjoy the fruits of her labor and even more accolades. You've got to respect that.

When someone is depressed or spiritually lost, money or opportunity to fix the situation doesn't mean anything. Believe me, I have much empathy because I have a family member who went through the same thing. The person has to want to get help, noone can make them. So, I have no idea what point I'm making. I guess only that each person is responsible for themselves, and while I have sympathy, that has to end at some point and the person has to do what is necessary to help themselves.

Comment: If Nicole is driving the wrong way on a freeway, then it should immediately cease to be a "cute" or funny story. This is nothing if not serious. This could've been a disaster...what if she had hit a minivan with a family inside? She knows who her aunt and father are, plus she has been around simple minded socialites and celebrities. The girl is going to wind up dead for sure if someone does not take heed of this situation! Comment: She needs help and wants help (which is why she hasn't committed suicide YET). But there's something the drugs/lifestyle are giving her that she hasn't figured out how to replace. Until she does that, she'll keep going back to them. Lionel and Brenda have already been "through it" with her. They kicked her out for the sake of their other kids, and I would have done the same thing. Nicole is going to have to ask herself in a sober moment whether she really wants her life. If so, only she cna figure out what thing in life is worth trading the drugs in for. Lionel can't do this for Nicole.

Comment: Nicole's issues, I believe, are related to her identity. She grew up around all of these wealthy white friends and knew that she didn't fit in. When she did the SIMPLE LIFE she thought she looked fat up against Paris, (who is also ridiculously skinny), so she went on this diet of starvation that she now blames her ex-boyfriend for- but Nicole was already thin when she met the DJ. She then hired this woman to begin dressing her since she was doing such a poor job of it her self. She then went to the celebrity hairstylist and had him take every kink out of her hair, dye it blonde, and give her a killer cut- which he did. Then she had a little nip and tuck (that nose has been redone) and voilla! You now have the new and improved more European looking Nicole. In the process of all of this, there was a lot of partying and drinking and drugs. Nicole has been drinking and doing drugs since she was an adolescent. But none of this is going to make her "good enough." Even after all of this, Paris (whom I think she wants to be) still won't hang out with her but instead would prefer to hang out with Britney, who comes from a trailer park in Lousiana, doesn't wear panties, chews gum and walks around with no shoes on. But she is STILL better to them than is Nicole because she is white. It doesn't help that Nicole's father is one fo the best songwriters in the world and Paris has a CD out before Nicole does which she claims to always be "working on." I guarantee you that Paris has either called her a nicca, or a half-breed wannabe or something like that because every since she and Paris "fell out" this girl has been headed straight to hell in gasoline drawers.

Comment: Harriet, that was a really good post. Marlin, that is a good point. I wonder how things would be if she'd been raised around Sheila E.'s people. I was just looking at Sheila's website and she has a beautiful, brown family, and I'm sure Nicole would have done far better being brought up by that side of her family because she wouldn't feel the need to try and conform to the ways of YT. Sheila seems like she don't play, and I think as her aunt, maybe she could step in and help. But I have no idea if she has a relationship with Nicole or not. Nicole wants to be white, so I don't know if anyone can help her at this point. I hope they can though.

Comment: azure15; Good point, but it happens it happened in my home town a woman just got off work and was very tired and was driving the wrong way on the freeway and one car swerved out of the way but the car behind that one hit her head on and it was a state trooper both died instantly. Some of those entrance ramps could be confusing and I read another post that not only was she under the influence but also on her cell phone and probably wasn't even paying attention, and since it was so early there was noone really out on the road for her to notice. This could have been a very tragic situation like the one here and there were no drugs or alcohol involved just sleeplessness.
