Comment: @ fanteeking>>> after reading the article, I was thinking the same thing.

Comment: Indipindinthinkr: Me thinketh that there's an un-written rule in Hollywood that dictates, that if you're an ESTABLISED, BONA-FIDE star then NEVER give props to some up-and-coming or earlier star for fear that this would erode your popularity base. Eddie Murphy knows damn well that Jennifer's performance was FANTABULOUS!! He's such a conceited fool! He used to live near my former home of Englewood, NJ and my MaMa's church friend was his cook and maid. She had to enter the back kitchen door and when he wanted to talk to her he would have his wife relay the message while all 3 were in the same room. My friend Clay P. from Egwd went next door from his house to play basketball and he told his buddies, "I don't wanna meet no N####ra from down the hill in Egwd!" I hate folks like that who by the grace of God make it then turn around and turn up their noses at us who are MUCH less fortunate. If I can't help uplift ya I ain't gonna look down my nose at cha!!!

Comment: >fanteeking - that's a sad story, unfortunately, especially with black americans, once they become "rich", they turn their noses on other people especially those trying to climb the ladder of success and get where they are, and start acting like their doody don't stink.

Comment: Did Kam Williams do an actual interview with Eddie Murphy or just cut and paste Eddie Murphy's answers from the "making of Dreamgirls" clip because these answers are damn near verbatim?

Comment: They should have never gave them n*ggas money!!!!!!! lol. since he wasnt asked about her he didnt comment about her. i think he is extra concieted and rude but he grew up in the lights so he grew up with distorted views, i cant wait till christmas to see this movie

Comment: Wow I must be reading a totally different article, I think he came off very complimentary I mean he did same something positive about each star he was asked about. Looking at the interview, he simply responded to each question he was asked period. If anything the interviewer would be at fault for not asking about Jennifer.

Comment: AMEN @ Sweet Darlin

Comment: I agree with you, SweetieDarlin. We're much too quick to criticize people who are in the limelight, so to speak. Everytime I read some of these things, I think about the "crabs in the barrel" syndrome that too many of us suffer from. When someone becomes successful, we just want to drag 'em back down.....
