Comment: R. Kelly was nominated (then after public outcry, the nomination was taken off the table) but never won an Image Award. But I too was perplexed as to why he was even nominated.

Comment: even if b doesn't win at the golden globes or oscars if she's nominated, trust, she will more than likely win at "our" awards because they are not going to let her go home without one. just hope it's because she did the best job and not because she's beyonce' and they want to give her one, if it turns out that way.

Comment: Chocolattechile, I'm 110% with you on that one! When R. Kelly got that nomination, I...WHAT!? I just couldn't get my head around that! Peein' on and then effin' little girls... I have a daughter, maybe that's why I get p-ed off at the mere mention of his name. I haven't taken the NAACP seriously since then. And weren't they considering a name change a few years ago? I could swear they were gonna drop "Colored".
