Comment: As long as they are not charging folks to watch videos, I think this would be a great idea. Lately the only videos I tune into are those VH-1 Soul channel to reminisce (sp?) over old songs/videos and for some good R&B. Lately, BET has been removed from my list of "favorites". After Free and AJ left, 106 & park is garbage and the quality of videos has gone down. There are but so many women's azzes I can tolerate in this lifetime, and watching out sistahs degrade themselves constantly is not something I am into supporting!

Comment: BETJ is pretty incredible. I really enjoy the variety and class of the programming.

Comment: A channel catering to a younger audience is really needed in this capacity????

Comment: I can't get BET J here in MD. Comcast doesn't seem to offer it here. I feel so deprived.

Comment: The headline for this article is misleading because it implies that JayZ and Diddy are going to launch their own urban channel and that isn't true. In reading the entire article, it seems the Weinstein brothers will be putting up the money. Enough said. This is NOT A GOOD thing. Jay and Diddy will be USED ONCE AGAIN!!!!

Comment: Well, Jay-Z and Diddy could have put up their own money if they'd wanted to. They certainly know that that's where the power lies. However, i know i'm not a fan of paying to see music videos. It is fine if the price is low and they have a wide enough selection- but I know that it is a real chicken-**** way for poor people to go broke.
