Comment: As the sound designer of the film "Fantastic Four" and as the sound designer who did the web sounds for the first "SpiderMan" film. I can say that Brice Carrington had absolutly no involvemnt in them. He has misrepresented his film sound credentials for some time. Check the credit roll of any of the films he claims. you will not see his name on them. He also does not hold the Oscar's he claims. You can verify this by going the Motion Picture Arts and Sciences website. this link will get you there- http://awardsdatabase.oscars.org/ampas_awards/DisplayM ain.jsp?curTime=1172220361585

Comment: Brice Carrington is back! Having worked on many of the films that he CLAIMS to have worked on, I can tell you that this guy is a con man. I don't know why someone would do this, but he's been doing it for years. Look on any of the credits for these films- he is not listed! That's because his claims are all untrue. Check your sources before publishing erroneous info!

Comment: Is he still doing this scam? Are journalists still not bothering to check even the imdb? As someone who has worked with Gary Rydstrom, Ethan Van der Ryan, David Farmer, and Leslie Shatz; the real sound designers for Jurassic Park, King Kong, and the Mummy; I can tell you that this man has never done ANY work on any of these films. He has also had quite a bit of legal trouble with Lucasfilm over his false claims. Jeez, why someone would bother to steal the spolight from a bunch of people who toil behind the scenes and almost never get any recognition as it is, is just sad and weird.

Comment: This is the fourth artical that I have found about Brice Carrington and the magazine, or radio show did not check the facts. This guy is a liar and is stealing the hardwork of the REAL sound designers. Besides, think about this logically, an African American with three "commemorative" (this is a laugh) Oscars should be the Oprah Show. There is no such thing as a Commemorative Oscar unless you're buying it from the Hollywood Mega Store. Check your facts before going to print.
