Comment: Whitney has blown through a lot of money acting a fool. If she got rid of Ray J, good. He's trash. She should have had sense enough to get rid of Bobby Brown about 14 years ago.

It's not just the 'men' in her life that gave her problems, it was her parents and being forced to hide her sexuality. I believe that Whitney is either bi or a lesbian. I truly believe had Whitney been left alone and let her 'be', at least, she would not have fallen so far in drug addiction. I truly believe that people that abuse drugs have some serious hurt going on. I also think that Whitney's mother has lived through Whitney and it caused alot of pressure on Whitney to live up to her expectation. JMHO.

I remember hearing the stories about
Whitney and her "friend" Robin. And how Bobby hated the woman.
I always thought that she hooked up with Bobby to prove that she was black enough and went overboard with all of the antics. I watched part of an episode of "Being Bobby Brown" once and was throughly disgusted by both of them.

Comment: I agree PRDC. I wouldn't be surprised if Whitney and Bobby rekindled their relationship. I may be one in the minority but I think those two are made for each other. But, they both need to work on themselves individually first.

(and who would want to sleep with someone who has been with superho - even recently)or revive her career and all of the perks that come along with it.

Comment: gingerg> I recall Whitney's bodyguard's book which detailed some of the problems that was going on with Whitney. He said that Whitney was 'cuttin up' before she met Bobby. She was using cocaine & was tight with Robin. Her late father did not approve of her relationship with Robin nor Bobby but he thought that Bobby was the lesser of two evils. Then it didn't help that Clive tried to make Whitney into something she wasn't. That's another reason why she cracked. She could not be herself. Clive tried to promote her as clean cut and when the cracks started to show, he distanced himself from her. He is also partly to blame for creating that monster. As for her & Bobby, I think they would get back together at some point. It wouldn't surprise me.

Comment: If there is anyone who needs a "lounge act" it's her. Perhaps the goal of getting back into the studio is to generate enough buzz to hit the road and tour. I agree with the comments on her marketing but then again Clive did promise her mother that he would make her a star. Slapping those gowns on her and singing those torch songs did it -- until she grew up and started rebelling. Kind of like a page from the Mike Tyson book. Remember when they had him practically locked up and only let me out to box every three months. It all went down hill after Cus died.

Comment: NYC I've always thought Whitney was bi sexual otherwise the stories of her and her friend Robin wouldn't have bothered her so much that she would kick her to the curb. Guilt over that and hiding in plain sight helped string Whitney out. It also spoke volumes that very few around her at the time actually liked Robin. I also believe that if she continues on her path to recovery she won't look back twice for Bobby - who in de heyell would want him after supahead?! You gotta admit though it gives a new meaning to 'sloppy' seconds!lmbao

Comment: I don't know. She looks kind of worn out and all of that loud, obnoxious behavior is a real turn off.
Even though she looked nice at the pre-Grammy event the other night, I'm not sure people will forget how she revealed the true Whitney during that Diane Sawyer interview a few years ago.
It was like to image that everyone idolized was shattered.
Regardless of how she acts, I have always felt that Whitney was blessed with an amazing voice. It would be terrible if she has destroyed that for a high or two.
